    I think you did an excellent job, Rusty. That's how easy I THOUGHT it was going to be with a cheap Harbor Freight Tire Changer, boy was I wrong. That's why I've got the tires pulled off and am taking them in to the shop tomorrow to get the new tires put on. Hahahaha.

      Yeah man from what I have seen it takes some work to make the HF machine functional.

    Looks like it works quite well. Save quite a bit doing it yourself.

      Yeah to me most of the work was pulling the wheels for the shop to do it. If I am that far might as well. The changer started is life as a basketball goal so it was cheap to build.

    This is so impressive, Rusty!! Is this your own compact design? Can this be used for any tires?

    • @RustyTheBiker
      @RustyTheBiker  3 года назад +1

      Yeah some of it is my design and some of it was robbed inspiration. It probably could be used on most tires with some modifications or adapters basically being built. Some of that's already in the planning.

      @@RustyTheBiker Well I was wondering if you could get a patent on it, especially the compact part?

    • @RustyTheBiker
      @RustyTheBiker  3 года назад +1

      @@PurpleOnThree I might could? As someone else commented I think on IG that it would be like the better mouse trap thing where I made an improvement rather than an original design. There is a company that makes a very similar head that goes on a harbor freight tire changer. They charge like $450 for it plus you have to pay the $70 for the tire changer itself. I may have $175 or $200 in mine as it was built out of scrap.
