@uncleelmer Wrong! I like Nancy's singing better than Amy's here. I prefer a deep nasal singing a la Steve Windwood and Traffic(the real young Nancy) than stupid bratty raspy singing(Amy). Btw, do you like Steve Windwood and Traffic.
@@nyosito Other singers such as Rose Kemp(female), Diana Mangano, Darby Gould(Marie Venegas Gould-female), Simone Holsbeek(female) would do a better job of singing Nancy Nevins songs better than bratty Amy Jo here.
"Love the girl, we gotta talk...We're talkin here, we're talkin now. I've got Capitol and Mercury on hold." *Bring back their best offer, I'll beat it!!* BEST. LINE. EVER. ^_^
I remember when this came out on vh1..I got my parents to order me the cd bc I couldn't find the original bands cd anywhere not even best buy. I play it now on pandora sometimes when I need to
I really REALLY needed this when I was sitting in my bedroom w/ my karaoke machine mic up to my TV, trying record the songs during the original airing XD XD thanks though!
Saw Sweetwater at the Miami Pop Festival the Christmas of 1968. They were my favorite then dropped off the face of the earth. Never heard about the accident until this movie came out. Thank God, I thought I hallucinated them. 😁
Awesome classic band! Amy Jo Johnson at her best! Wow!!!!!🏆
@RobertAlbarran-rd7pe Amy Jo was not right for the part of playing Nancy Nevins.
I love this movie AS well the music it was sad what happened to her
The music and the magic of the '60s
@anthonyharris7226 Yes, it was but not this inaccurate movie.
Love this band! Great movie - music is timeless.
Amy's voice really fit this movie 😌 can honestly say ( 90's baby ) finding this movie put me onto the actual group and their story .
Me too in fact I start listening to the groups music after this movie
@joymechell277 Bratty Amy's voice was a bad fit.
Thanks. Love this movie and really like Amy Jo's singing. Nancy's a tough act to try and do justice for and Amy does well.
This is Lady Raynes..Right on to that! Amy has a Great voice.
@@kendolinasoldano6954 Nancy has a Great Voice, not Bratty Amy.
I became aware of this fantastic group from the VH1 movie. Absolutely love them and the movie. Their music is perfect 50 years later!!
Amy really nailed this role down perfectly. Nice job! In fact, I like Amy's singing better than Nancy Nevins of Sweetwater.
uncleelmer I agree. I watched Sweetwater woodstock performance and i think Amy does it better.
Absolutely. Almost sounded like Natalie Merchant
I guess pink ranger paid off lol

Saw them at Texas International Pop Festival in 1969 right after Woodstock. The bestest there was Zeppelin, blew my little pea brain away!
This music sound dope

Amy is a good lifetime movie actress
I really REALLY needed this when I was sitting in my bedroom w/ my karaoke machine mic up to my TV, trying record the songs during the original airing XD XD thanks though!
Love this! I had such a crush on the guy who played Alex
I had such a crush on Amy Jo

@joymechell277 Carefree really? It was a turbulent time in comparison to the 50s that were really carefree.
