It doesn't matter how old you are, speaking up and calling for help to stop someone from being abused is the best thing anyone can do to save that person. I have saved many people by calling 911 when I heard screaming and hitting sounds. I came from being abused and no one helped me. I swore no kids or women or men will be abused and not have me.call to get them help❤
I dont care who is But I helped where I can No one get abused in front of me never I even woke up even in the middle of night If I put my light on I can save someone
I'm so proud of how Ethan helped his sister. I'm also happy how they got the help they needed. I hope that abusive guy gets his pay back in prison from the inmates.
This story is a powerful reminder of how children often notice more than adults give them credit for. Actually this is the most realistic story i've come across thesr days
@@urbanstories-b1v It’s keeping me awake at around 2:30 am. I got to sleep earlier, but since I woke I haven’t been able to get back to sleep . This story haunts me.
Heartbreaking and eye-opening. This situation highlights the critical role of family dynamics and the need for safe spaces for children to express their fears. That little boy is a hero, but it's also a call for all of us to be more vigilant and supportive in protecting vulnerable family members
It doesn’t matter how old you are-speaking up and reaching out for help to stop someone from being abused is one of the most powerful and courageous things you can do to protect and save them.❤❤❤
Lily should speak to her mother irregardless of Richard's threats, or speak to a school councellor - abuse of a child is unacceptable. I hope someone notices soon, that something seems off - and helps this poor child.
Great story what a loving & concern brother very nice. I wonder why she wearing jacket. Children knows better than adults & wiser. He should go to jail for life time.
The children are so manipulated they will not tell. I'm sure he told her over and over no one will believe her. I still hear it. No one will believe you. I'm a teacher. Who do you think they will believe? Me or you? A child.
JanetPollock-ud It's easy to say this, hard for lots of adults, even harder for kids that are being threaten by en adult. I know because I did live though all that and rape. I was also threatened by my stepfather and when I did talk my mother didn't believe me. She said that I was lying because I didn't like him. Thank God her brother call 911, I didn't have that help because he would go to my room that was all the way in the back while everyone was sleeping. It's a long story.
An abuser creates fear in the child they are abusing. An abuser is good at hiding what they do. When a child tells on someone like this guy they are NOT believed. He had a stellar reputation and the school covered up for him. So the abuse DOES get worse to keep them quiet
Ethan really loved and cared for his sister. Grace overtrusted her boyfriend. I know she had too much work to support her children. She ought to have had background check on her boyfriend before letting him live with her children.
This story is incredibly moving and powerful, shedding light on the importance of courage, resilience, and the strength of family bonds. The way it portrays Ethan's bravery and the family's journey toward healing is both inspiring and heartwarming. It also emphasizes the need for systemic change and how even the smallest voice can spark monumental transformations. A beautifully written and impactful narrative!
🕊️♥️❣️🙏🏼🕊️ what a good video This happens in alot of Families Mothers trusting in these type of Men mothers thinking they found their hero cus he’s so Helpful Thank God that Monster didn’t do nasty thing thank God New Subbie hope to watch more of your videos 🕊️💙🙏🏼💙🙏🏼💙🕊️
What a great kid, may the Almighty God always bless and protect that family, Amen. Thumbs up 4de teacher who gave the kids that lesson n 4 the kids to listen n learn, Amen.
This story is a serious reminder for women with children to think twice or three times before getting into new relationships. Their new spouse might not be the supportive stepparent they assume. Abusive persons often disguise their genuine intentions
Single Parents must think twice before getting involve with a partner.Get to know their back ground.😢Our kids should be SAFE.Story@least has a HAPPY ENDING!!😊
This is a very meaningful presentation . I had similar experiences during my childhood with adults ignoring my accounts of molestations. There are mental abuse, physical abuse and the ever so insidious spiritual abuse !! The most effective way is to develop self confidence, then the courage to deflect and protect yourself from further harm/ abuse . I learned and enrolled myself in martial arts reaching up to brown black level. My aneurism prevented me from the last step of nonstop 2 minute sparring . But at least I knew how to protect myself physically . For other women I encourage self respect, self care and develop confidence 👍 👍
So sorry this happened to this precious child. Her little brother is a hero. I tried to be an observant teacher. Ironic, teachers are mandated reporters. Teachers should have noticed the changes and at minimum send them to the counselor. I reported something a child told me. It was investigated, but they decided she just wanted attention. It still bothered me.
This is why we need to ensure the schools teach these kids important things like is written here. We had a basic sex ed in 3rd grade. About bodies change and whatnot; It came in handy for those of us who were raised by a single dad, and it taught us about things like rape and sexual abuse. Those things weren't really talked about back then, but it helped a number of us when faced with the aftermath of one of - be it ourselves or others.
I had a fifth grade math teacher like the bad guy in this story. My teacher, who got away with cruel abuses to students, was still talked about years later at class reunions, and he went on to promotion to school district Superintendent. I hope children these days are taught to speak up for themselves.
THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE STORY. ETHAN AT ONLY 7 DID A VERY COURAGEOUS THING IN RINGING THE POLICE TO HELP LILY. PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL ABUSE IS AN INCREDIBLY HENIOUS THING TO DO TO YOUNG GIRLS.
I really admire the little boy, he is very brave but the question is what is the role of the mother here??? A warning to parents who are only busy with work and do not pay attention to their children
It's really easy to say what she should do but stop judging till you walk the walk anything she would do would be wrong. Try to let your mind go with the story and maybe you can pick up something to help the next child you meet
Lord i tired to tell my mother but she didn't want but it hurts me to need me to get on my need and i asked her please listen to me momand she didn't want tto here me and it wasn't on outside cause i saŵ something .
It's just crazy. the way he took her to his room for abuse . I think he was grooming her for other things . Thank God her little brother was alert and did something about it . That's why the onus is on adults /teachers to point out to their charges the symptoms of good or bad interractions of their elders or even their mates and how to take action . Great . Keep it up . Thank you
That is very nice when a brother take care after his big sister.
You mean take care of not take care after
Or you can say look after his sister .

Good job for a 7 year old boy for helping his big sister
This story is really is sad at the beginning, but Ethen's 7 years old brought light at the end. ❤
The bond between Ethan and Lily is so heartwarming, and Ethan’s courage is a testament to how even the smallest voices can create change.

Ethan is a brave little boy. He protected his big sister. He loves her deeply.
Same bully of a teacher and a man, and mom doesn’t see her children! Like my dad didn’t see my stepmom! You almost told my story!

hi from south australia and thank you i enjoyed story ❤❤
Talk to someone always. Perpetrators always put fear in their victims.
Sad story, that little boy was so brave.
All ready sad I feel for this young girl
Watching from West Virginia
Ethan is such a brave little man.
That man was a predator. I think that is an apt description of his behaviour. Unfortunately, it happens all too often.
What a great story and hope all schools keep on the rules. 😊
Listening from Charleston SC area
No kids are useless they are people who needs help.

This was so hard to watch. I cried most of the way to the end. It settled in the pit of my stomach.
Watching from USA 🇺🇸 😊
I really admire the little boy, he is very brave but the question is what is the role of the mother here???
A warning to parents who are only busy with work and do not pay attention to their children
The wasn't anyone there when I was little. It is known that I watch out for the kids now
This Story reminds me of that movie:
The Girl Next Door. . .
Smart young girl
It's really easy to say what she should do but stop judging till you walk the walk anything she would do would be wrong. Try to let your mind go with the story and maybe you can pick up something to help the next child you meet

South Africa
Did anybody try asking why he was like that why he was so abusive???. Clearly he had unhealed issues.
This guy is a teacher???
Yeah I know right
are there rules for posting I should know about?
No, there's no rule. What's happening is that some RUclips bug is disabling the comments, and I have to enable them manually. I'm sorry about that.
No man has the power to hurt kids. Richard Cooper is wrong he needs to change his heart and attitude.
Wow he’s so brave!
When that man was treating her I would of told a teacher and she needed help where mom
Why would she need to do sole custody when he is the step-father and he hasn't adopted her kids
True . I think that her kids were stolen from her .
Lord i tired to tell my mother but she didn't want but it hurts me to need me to get on my need and i asked her please listen to me momand she didn't want tto here me and it wasn't on outside cause i saŵ something .
The stepfather shouldn't have done what he had done
WOODCHIPPER. CHILDREN ARE 1ST ALL THE TIME. ALWAYS NO.1. ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!
Do i understand well ? He did not try to rape her abused her physically by hitting her nd giving her bruises . ???? 29:09

The large sweater is telling everything. Sure he abused everyways
I hate such mothers who can not understand girl child trauma... I never leave to anyone my girl trusting even father .
Please buy a book of names. People are getting tired of every male being Ethen.
I totally agree
❤
He's lucky he didn't get life in prison.
Family abuse needs counseling.
