This should have way more views. I don't think anyone knows about it. I found it by searching for a kareem interview and stumbled upon this. No one knows about this. Needs some promo for sure
All these years later and we still get new stories from Tony & Kareem, two legends that inspired millions of people to skate. Can't wait to see who will be on the show next episode
i met Reem in '98 at the sports and music festival in memphis,. I was just a little shithead. Still genuinely the same guy i remember. He even let my buddy pop a trick on his board. Tight trucks all day baby! The skate event got rained out but it was still a great weekend for a youngin and a highlight of my youth. Much love Reem, Tony and Rob!
Tony Hawk has built several of the skateparks here in Metro Detroit area and I would like to thank him. The amount of people that have been skating at these outdoor parks is insane and all for free, thank you Tony 🙏
Kareem and Hawk are the reason why I fiend on Tony Hawk's Pro Skater to this day. Even bought Reem's vintage Tech Decks off of Ebay. Game was clutch at such a rough time.
Let's be honest. Back in the days everybody chose Kareem in THPS hahaha. I doesn't matter if you were black or white. He just was the coolest character. And still is
Man this is incredible. Tony is such a great ambassador not only for skating but just for life in general. Reem you’re a natural at this already. I’ve seen tons of Tony’s interviews and nobody ever asks about Flip. That Tom Penny story was amazing!
Yo the amount of times I would ask where's Kareem Campbell, here he is in 2020 doing a show, amazing, and Tony right about the black community, trust we all know you G.
I love this show! You guys are awesome. I'm happy see a little more "production" on this episode. The conversations are still fantastic. I like hearing about what y'all have been up to recently, and hearing older stories. Skate culture is on the rise again! I'm stoked for the future of your show, and I'm super hyped about skateboarding being brought to a constantly growing audience!
He is the reason alot of blacks even ever picked up a skateboard or knew about skating. Hes responsible for alot and Tony is responsible for making jim popular thru the game. Im not very good on a skateboard but i love watching and love trying. Big thanks to you guys.
As an observer, I think there comes a point in a skaters career where as fans we no longer care about how big or innovative your tricks are, but the way you do them is what gives our interest longevity. Style matters. You have it. So with all due respect, what I'm trying to say is please give us another part Kareem. Even if it's just a wee one.
You say this as if skaters get the opportunity to do this as a living. There's literally less than 20 skaters in the world over the age of 35 who skate and make a living off of skating. They aren't in any publications not because they don't want to be, but sadly it's because nobody cares. People forget. Plenty of skaters get faded out before age 30 with still plenty of gas in the tank. They just get dropped and never seem to recover regardless of the footage. It's hard to live off this. Plenty of pro-skaters in their prime right now work as Bartenders, Uber, they even work at the same warehouses where their boards shit. Por skaters shipping their own boards. This is the reality of life.
@@moegerms Yeah, there are a privileged few. I'm not asking him to turn pro, just if he's got any loose footage lying around (he still skates) I'd be happy to watch it.
It is gratifying that skateboarding has gone from using the homophobic F word to discussing learning to sew. The acceptance of all humans, classes and sexual orientations. I have been a skater for many decades and appreciate where it is at in it’s evolution...
Tony has been killing it on this press run for the THPS remake.

That tre flip to fakie at The Berrics was buttery.
For real, that's why it broke the internet. It wasn't the trick, it was Kareems style
FACTS
1000%, hella buttery!
👊👊👊👊
An episode with Na-kel Smith would be so cool. The uncle and nephew sharing early stories

I was at a demo with rodney mullen and the a team guys. In naperville Illinois in the 90s it was dope.

So good to see Kareem back out in the public eye. Just have to say it again, that tre to fakie was a thing of beauty. Pure style
Kareem been waiting on this level of media from you. Keep em coming!
I can feel the love between these two legends. Skateboarding builds friendships pile nothing else!
Kareem and Hawk are the reason why I fiend on Tony Hawk's Pro Skater to this day. Even bought Reem's vintage Tech Decks off of Ebay. Game was clutch at such a rough time.
Looked you up after playing the remaster. Between you and Lupe skateboarding was normalized for black kids. Glad to see your still doing it!
Let's be honest. Back in the days everybody chose Kareem in THPS hahaha. I doesn't matter if you were black or white. He just was the coolest character. And still is
Man Kareem since a kid i used to always play you in tony hawk pro skater and the only thing i will say is times fly
Salute to both legends 🌹🙌🏼

kareem taught the existing rigid style of skateboarding some style, and forever changed it
Two of the greats!

More skateboarding talk is always welcome!!! Love it
Keep it going babyyyy!

Facts, or just overall excited to see that they're doing well as a person and are healthy too. That alone makes me hype to see a legend.
We need Kareem on Hawk vs Wolf!!!!
Thank you for the show.
Hell yeah! Super hyped on episode three. Thanks, Reem. I'm stoked you're keeping this going. I Hope this blows up enough to make it worth your time.
Two huse influences of mine, salute to the OG's. Instant subscribe.
Yo Reem. I thoroughly enjoyed the content.
Such a pleasant talk.
Great show , subbing now
Get Stevie Williams up in there 👏
Shit yes this is awesome! Keep it up Kareem you are the man!!
Hell yea! Keep it up Reem!
I wanna see Chris Roberts on the show!
Nice

Ronnie Creager .. so so so dope ❤✌
Fucking sick.
I drink a pint of vodka every time Reem says "like", I'll metabolize the alcohol only in 2021.
Great interview.
CITY STARS!!!!
Wooo first like on episode 3
Select your skater... Kareem!
I was like wtf is Tony in the 214 for?!? Call in show. Ok.
As much respect as i have for TH i cant believe Mikey wasn't the first guest.. Put Crum on!!
I'm just gonna say it right now KAREEM CAMPBELL FOR JRE LETS GOOOO!!!
Joe Rogan is a fool. Knows nothing about skating. His Tony Hawk conversation was most biographical nothing to do with skating. KAREEM TO THE 9CLUB.
Kareem changed the game with New World Order, at least 4 NBD's of the top of my head
No cap I played always played kareem on thps 1-4.
I can't wait until he starts interviewing some Menace riders
Ehhhh idk about that. If Javy pulls through.....epic shit. Of Javy pulls up with Stevie, that's PPV shit.
@@moegerms why?
✌🏿🐐
