- Decided to have a little fun with the "Anime chord progression", and merge it with a Midwest / 5th wave emo riff! :)

This was great! I have this idea of mixing surf rock with Midwest emo and hardcore(in the likes of Comeback Kid). This is close to the sound I’d go for as far as the crunchy tone and fast pace.

I achieved the tone by putting the distortion shape all the way up, but the gain very low.

The chord progression was the so called "Anime chord progression", which is a IV-V-iii-vi pattern. You can use this in any key desirable! :)

Thanks so much! Most of it is the OS-2. For amp simulator i use the zoom G1on's fender combo simulator and a bit of compression!

Thanks man! I ran my Jag through a fender twin reverb simulator and a boss OS-2 with the color all the way up, and the drive all the way down. For reverb I used a walrus slo with the mix around noon.

I practice whenever I feel inspired, which would come down to a few times a week (guitar isnt my main instrument).
