Ghent Belgium I loved the canal boat tour, very beautiful, fairytale medieval castles and medieval buildings to view. The ancient little bridges that we passed under, soooo, absolutely unbelievable., like a fairy tale movie, or in another time zone, of beauty and awe. It would be wonderful at the jazz music festival, enjoying the fun and Belgium exquisite food, at this lovely medieval city, also enjoying the other special big night Ghent festival, would be wonderful fun to enjoy too. Unfortunately, we only have three hours, to enjoy this beautiful Ghent Belgium town. Zarko has a warded Belgium the 100!!!!!!!! percent, Best World Beer 🏆🍺🍺
8:09 if you ever visit the "fairy tale" castle (aka het Gravensteen) don't miss the chamber with medieval torture instruments. Other preserved medieval castles are Beersel (near Brussels) and Bouillon (south of Wallonia). But Belgium counts hundreds of castles, ruins, preserved or refurbished. Other special places : - Bastogne : centre of the Battle of the Bulge 1944-45. - Ieper and Flanders Fields : all about WWI. - the tramline running along the whole length of the Belgian coast, 65 km. - Bokrijk, province of Limburg : a park with rebuilt buildings from all over Belgium. There is even a 1960s street. And much, much more.
Wow, Belgium is packed with history and unique spots! We only scratched the surface in Ghent, but it’s clear there’s so much more to see. Thanks for all these fantastic recommendations! We hope to return for a much longer visit next time. 😊

What a beautiful city, it's going on my bucket list. Thanks for sharing
Belgium does have good beer....To bad you could not stay longer......
🥰🍻🥰
I like city old
Ghent is third biggest city. Brussels is the biggest, Antwerp the second....
A pity you didn't go to the center, with 3 huge towers next to each other
Unfortunately, we were there for only 3 hours. It is amazing there and we plan to return.
They got to the first tower, but didn't show the best view for that. Where they were filming the locks, just turn 45° to the right, and you see them.
