    It speaks to the idea that the church is here to bless the world when our mission is to call people out of the world to Christ. It also presupposes that the church is here to bring or establish the kingdom on earth prior to the King's return. It is postmillenial in its eschatology almost as if Christ doesn't really need to return at all. It is very subtle but it appeals to the religious lust of the flesh.

    Does anyone hear Satan's temptation of Christ to rule the world?
    And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

    “Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits."
    Revelation 17:7‭, ‬9
    Then he said to me,
    “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues."

      @@jasonballard9740 there's a picture of Beni laying on a grave. While I think it's weird and unnecessary people have to realize that Bill is not endorsing "grave sucking" etc. As I understand it Bill believes one can receive an anointing that another had who lived before by being in a geographical location of significance where that person was. Bill has said he doesn't believe in speaking to dead spirits but defends his belief that by going to these places of significance perhaps one can pickup on or get in tune with an anointing, not the spirit of the dead individual. I am not criticizing Bill who I respect and appreciate a ton just putting out there what I've learned on this so-called "grave sucking" matter.

      @stevepierce6467 Год назад

      Praying for wisdom, like praying for anything at all, won't get you there. Wisdom comes from thinking rationally and at length about your knowledge and experiences. And the more knowledge you have, the more reference points you have to make sense of everything. Reading one book gets you one point of view. Reading many books helps you fill in the blanks, helps create a more nuanced perspective, like looking at a full-scale 3-D human head from all angles rather than a black silhouette on white.

If it’s me, then the view that the earth will be completely Christianised before Jesus returns is the classic postmillennial view which takes a preterist interpretation of Scriptures. I know Kris’s eschatology is very much preterist, from his “victorious eschatology” sermon. It’s pretty clear that he adopts that view. That said, he never explicitly said about the spheres being conquered, so I was careful to say “I think”, because i can’t be 100% sure.

    These mountains are not business, entertainment, and all of the other extra biblical concepts because in the Bible, mountains symbolize world powers or empires. The 7 mountains of Revelation symbolize 7 empires that dominated the world throughout history and this is exactly how Satan opposed God and harmed God’s people.
    .... Therefore, this so-called Dominionism put forth by Bethel, YWAM, and all the rest is utterly spurious and is not even Christian, as there is no Scriptural basis for it at all.

      That's a juicy rationalization for trying to back-pedal from the harm this movement has done. It's OK. God saw. Maybe there should be a sermon series on Ezekiel 34? The pastors and false prophets (you know..the ones who said God told them Trump would win and be President for a second term? Hint: When God doesn't back it up? It's a false prophecy!) that teach this Christian Voo-Doo should be in sackcloth and ashes., repenting. Instead, they attempt to to reframe it as something harmless and SPIRITUAL. I get it. Three's lots of "goodies" ($$$) at stake. And It's spiritual, alright. But the spirit isn't named HOLY...it's Jezebel. We don't need "badass violent gun toters for Jesus." And we don't need a "Cyrus type." We need the Jehus.

      Let me say it this way. Satan has his tentacles all over the earth. Meanwhile the earth belongs to our God and His Christ. So in a way you can say Satan is illegally occupying territories that isn't his to begin with and he is influencing the minds of men and women who originally belong to God to reduce them to his vile, base nature, which will ultimately separate them from a loving Father. And remember Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. He has done the most important and fundamental part by stripping the devil of his power and authority to harm us, and now the battle to restore all things to the Son has been passed down to us the church. Our job to take back everything the enemy stole from us in the fall, with Adam and Eve. How do we do that? By preaching the gospel of the kingdom, with power to every creature. We go into all the worlds, including every nook and cranny, every facet of life, whether it's business or politics or sports, whatever; we bring everything under the influence of the King and His kingdom. Because all things were made for Him and by Him. The devil never once created anything. Until the kingdoms of this world become the kingdom of our God and His Christ...

    But unbelievers hear what you say to the church Bill. Your book is called " Heaven Invades Earth" and is available everywhere. Give offense to neither Jews nor Greeks nor the church of God. The "invasion" typology revisits the crusades in a certain way. Also did anyone compare the mission and actions of the infant church in the book of Acts which functioned as an ambassadorship of the Kingdom of heaven rather than a service oriented administration of the world.

    • @rain3743
      @rain3743 Год назад +1

      Jesus NEVER said, "Believe" or else." He was attractive because of the JOY he carried. The militant INVASION of these "spheres" of influence" on MAN's part, is all B.S. Jesus had no desire to be king of the Earth. He's seated in heavenly places. Trying to force everyone to believe as you do is the OPPOSITE of LIBERTY. And where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." You've got it BACKWARDS. Turn away from the promises and trappings of Earth. If there was any real power behind your "Gospel" we wouldn't need so many GUNS and so much violence. We would not only "tolerate" ( I mean...who wants to be merely TOLERATED, anyway?), We'd EMBRACE the other. We'd demonstrate patience and love.

  • @Joshualovespeople

    I also don’t think people will want it. That’s what we say because we received him, but to think of god is presented well or the Holy Spirit is expressed correctly that people will want it is ignoring the mainstream rejection that Jesus faced. It kind of goes against Jesus healing the 10 guys and only one coming back to say thanks. That’s the ratio of success to failures. And it’s what I’ve noticed in the streets if I’m preaching all day long. One person gets baptized, 100 others walk right by, 10 get fully healed.

    • @ianutube22

    • @dagman85
      @dagman85 3 года назад +1

      A lot of this depends on the spiritual environment you're in. The spiritual environment Jesus was in was very hostile. However, you can see multiple examples in Acts where the momentum was already starting to shift. The kingdom is like leaven, and as it spreads throughout a culture, those numbers start to change dramatically. When God sweeps in with true revival, those numbers get almost completely reversed.

    • @seanjohnbull1670
      @seanjohnbull1670 2 года назад

      @@dagman85 you are absolutely correct when you say that the environment matters. Let's take for example the time Jesus went to his hometown and couldn't (that means, he felt unusual restraint that wasn't from the Father) do great miracles because of their unbelief (even though that was what the Father was doing at the time. And we must remember that Jesus only did what he saw His Father do and say what He heard His Father say). The crazy thing in this is that Jesus had set the right mood for the miraculous to take effect seamlessly by His anointed spoken word straight from the Text, until someone else with their negative words, filled with unbelief an adverse environment of unbelief mixed with familiarity in their hearts, until the miraculous was reduced to a couple of sick people being healed.
      Contrast that to when faith is present, Jesus doesn't have to do more than to "speak the word" and things take effect.
      Now there are exceptions, especially when doubts involved the disciples, whom he was training on carrying this miraculous ministry when He finally leaves the earth.
      So yeah, the environment and atmosphere is absolutely critical.
      I guess in trying to agree with you, I have made a long post. Hopefully this buttresses your point.

Why not listen to what he has said about it and then stop spreading wrong conclusions about his intent with those quotes? He has clarified on many, many occasions that Jesus never stopped being fully God. The way that kenosis comes into play is that Jesus didn't do what He did in His capacity as God, but as a man anointed by the Holy Spirit and power, as we see in Acts 10:38.
