Such a fun and funny vlog to watch. Watching people’s first time reactions will never not entertain me. Definitely return soon, I’d say. When Joris en de Draak and de Vliegende Hollander are open (the latter is my personal favourite attraction, my first ever rollercoaster and the coaster I’ve ridden the most times). Piraña is a nice ride to do with good weather. And of course, Danse Macabre is going to open later this years. Sad that Spookslot had to go, but its spirit seemed ingrained in its successor. Funnily enough I’m watching this video while on holiday in the UK.
Awesome video, thx for making it! Love to see people's first impression of 'our' park. Especially foreigners filming the snackwall and all :) Great job filming your reactions. Hope you did Fata Morgana as well. Subscribed to see part 2!
amazing video i have an abbonoment on the efteling and thiss is so good every atraction here is in my heart i love this so much, and you have maked an amazing video en i hope that you are gonna make another one in the efteling soon
From the airport, get to the central station of Eindhoven (sorry not sure which bus that would be): But from Eindhoven Central you can get a train (Intercity) to the city of Tilburg. Then take bus 301 or 300 to Kaatsheuvel (the village where the Efteling is located). Eindhoven isn't that far from Kaatsheuvel in general. If i have to guess the journey from both locations with public transport is maybe 1.5 hours. I hope this helps :) I have fond memories of working at the Efteling over more than 20 years :)
oh wow what a lovely park! looks like you got loads of rides in an afternoon. was the park quiet did you go on a school day? hope your doing well abi 😊 look forward to park 2 xx
It was so lovely! We went on the weekend in February and it wasn’t bad at all - I think it was inbetween their Winter event finishing and the weather warming up, so not a peak time. Thank you lovely 💕 xx
I think most agree it's a 2 day park. There are 30 attractions in total. Fairytale forest takes 1 or 2 hours as it has 29 fairy tales. Also, this was a slow day. Lines can go up to 45 minutes on busy days. There's a busyness calendar on the official site. And they had guides :) The app can help though.
18:02 For me, no madhouse is quite Villa Volta :) I do hope the park will add something to get the story of the preshows across to foreign visitors. Maybe some kind of audio box? Or maybe a screen that displays the dialogue in English (and or German/French). But I wouldn’t want a screen to be overly intrusive.
@@ParksandPints That’s a thing with this park. I go there at least once a year, but I could easily spend so much times exploring the little things, I could honestly forget all the coasters and darkrides. Only on my last visit did I discover there was a little statue of the Bremen City Musicians, a fairy tale I only knew after I visited Bremen. Its a rooster on top of a cat, on top of a dog, on top of a donkey. It’s near all the carousels.
Always nice seeing first visitors to me home park and don't worry all the people say hex is better, i do need to get over to alton towers to see if its true. Well that got to wait year this year its the USA again.
Love this vlog, did you ever make a part 2? I would love to watch it.

How did you get from Eindhoven Airport to Efteling, and how long did that part of the journey take?

The distance between Eindhoven and Kaatsheuvel (the Efteling) is 40 km or 25 miles.
You can also go to Rotterdam by plane or train, not far from there too
Cudo's for showing the classic car ride 😂 and some of the lesser highlights
There’s one in the UK that adults aren’t allowed on so we were very excited by it 😂 it’s an amazing park all round!
Which month did you go to the park?
February :)

There's actually a calendar on Eftelings site showing how busy it will be in the future. Gotta dodge those school holidays :)

@@ParksandPints oh now that's a good idea! what great timing as well with it being closed season 😊😊
Thinking of taking the family, how many days would you recommend you need to complete everything?

Definitely recommend as a family park! We had 1 1/2 days but would do 2 next time maybe even 3 if it was busier / everything was open :)
I agree on the 2 days minimum, you would miss a lot of details when you rush
Villa Volta is the first mad house created ever in 1995. The house was designed by the Efteling and created by Vekoma
That’s so cool, didn’t know that! Thank you :) thanks for watching

For me, no madhouse is quite Villa Volta :)

Lovely to see Efteling trough different eyes. I hope you had a great day here. What is you're favorite ride at Efteling?
Or show/food etc 🙂
Favourite ride was Droomvlucht! 😍 but can’t wait to come back for the coasters we missed. So so magical 🥹
Fave food was definitely the pancakes at Polles Kuchen! We went here on day 2! Didn’t catch any shows this time but we’ll be back

The sound of true happiness
🤣 honestly could have been in those little houses for hours
