    Turns out, jet fuel absolutely can melt steel beams.

      @skie6282 Месяц назад +1

      Just wanma point out how dumb that sentiment was for multiple reasons, 1, funnel oxygen into a fire and it burns hotter. A wood fire can be twice as hot with a good air supply. 2, steel weakens when heated. 3, aluminum (airplane bodys) melt at low temps. Ok carry on

      @@skie6282 according to the official explanation the material you saw leaking out of the tower was just a slurry of organic material on fire and not actually molten metal because the fire was not hot enough to melt anything to yellow or white hot temperatures. Please do not spread misinformation!

      In the northeast is the norm, I’m a NJ fuel trucker and ppl cutting in front of you it’s something you should expect. And also it keeps you sharp. I live in Florida now and believe me when I say ppl here can’t drive including Florida truckers. Ppl here get their licenses at Walmart or something

      Thanks to whomever wrote this. It's definitely a Southern Phenomenon: people don't mind from side entrances they will pull out into on-coming traffic , as if, they are entitled. Be safe and blessed.

    1. Take a loss of the tanker and fuel.
    2. Get a massive, overly priced contract at the taxpayers expense
    3. Totally worth the investment

      Well, the shoulders narrow under these bridges, and for whatever reason, people in cars tend to swerve when they approach a bridge. This one drove into a tanker full of jet fuel.

  • @Comm0ut
    @Comm0ut Месяц назад +2

    Make all the bridges over such vital connections out of steel where they cross the road and mandate they be designed like military bridges so they can be removed, repaired, replaced and maintained easily. Were that a mobile bridge it could have been removed in hours and immediately replaced. Designing things for easy and rapid maintenance is not rocket surgery. Mobile bridges from WWII still serve around the world.

    United States is such a huge economy and yet all it takes is somebody blocking highway 95 two lanes and you would cripple the whole country!! Insane how that highway only has two lanes. A really bad infrastructure incident and it would close that highway for days!! All it takes is a bridge to collapse and bam! It’s a crisis! 😂😂😂😂😂
