  • Here's Together We've Got It from Show 2, 2022 at the 3-stage in La Crosse, WI.
La Crosse originally opened as a Showbiz Pizza on December 15th, 1982. Details are conflicted as to when they underwent Concept Unification as an article written by the La Crosse Tribune (which has the only officially confirmed photo of this location's time as an SPP) claims that they remodeled in 1993 despite it being commonly believed that CU was completed by the end of 1992. Either way, it was one of the final locations to undergo this process. They received Phase 4 sometime around late 2005/early 2006 to which proof can still be found of in the form of their outside sign which shows Chuck wearing his purple sweater which was only used for the earliest locations to receive Phase 4 outside of the initial testing stores like Corpus Christi, TX. The only other major changes they've had since then was reworking their exterior around early to mid-2014 and removing their Skytubes sometime between April and November of 2017.
As of the posting of this video, La Crosse is not only one of three former SPP's to still be in operation in the state, but it's also the last one to still have it's original stage let alone a stage at all after Madison & Green Bay underwent 2.0 last year. Unfortunately, time is running out for this stage as well as word on the street is that La Crosse is due to undergo 2.0 by May after constant threats and delays throughout 2021.
I'd been coming to this location very irregularly beginning in May of 2001, with this recent visit more than likely being my last as their plans to remodel and remove the show will kill any reason for me to ever want to return. I know corporate doesn't care about what the fans think about them removing the animatronics, but to me they're what makes a location worth going to. So once you remove them, you guarantee that I'll either never want to visit if I've never been to that location before (like I wanted to do for Green Bay & West Allis before they got 2.0) or make me never want to come back if I'd already been to it (Madison and soon La Crosse).
So in a way, I guess it's a little fitting that this song ended up being the last one I filmed during this visit considering that it's an updated version of the first song to play on this stage after this location had undergone Concept Unification. Plus, the fact that I was able to get another chance to film this song and now have it in a quality better than "Potato" from when I saw it the first time during Show 3, 2017 (which was my first time going to a CEC at all in a little more than 7 years) definitely helps.
    Filmed 3/28/2022

Unfortunately no. Stage was trashed about 3 months after this was filmed when they underwent 2.0.
