@NateZen Plus Alien Ness fully said he'll allow a flare as a transition but then later on says don't do flares in a footwork battle. lol. If he allows a flare as a transition, why not a backrock, why not a headspin, windmill, etc...

Honestly, you can do a SHIT ton with backrock, so I can see where it could separate from footwork. I was there and was kinda surprised Born lost.... but honestly, Flexum was KILLING it the entire night, so it was a well deserved win on his part.

Why bother doing toprock in a footwork battle? Like Ness said, it's a waste of energy. It doesn't do anything for you anyway. You're not being judged on it, nobody's looking for it, so you might as well not do it.
What I don't understand is why he says that backrocks are not footwork because you 'don't move your feet', well you really are, imagine that you do cc's in a normal footwork position and then you do it on your back, it's the same move, your feet are doing the same, the difference is that you have no help with your hands but with your back, so I'm not totally agree with him
the same with toprock I have always been taught to do toprock first before anything else as it is introduction of you/ your style... and now Ness saying that he would not even bother to do that ? excuse me Less but something is not quite right there...
In my opinion, in a dance battle then yea u right, toprock is the intro of your style in a bboy battle but in footwork battle, then your footwork alone should already define who you are
