I think it all depends on what you are trying to achieve. If know know react I might suggest a JS library like GSAP if you want to animate in the browser. For native apps I'm not sure

It's all great. Wish they finally allowed instant live view on device with Windows users (Idk if it works on mac don't have one but probably does). It's a long lasting issue and adding more features but neglecting others isn't at all user friendly
hey, today at 13th of january 2021, when I try out the z-position, negative (to zoom out/scale out) the object(s) , it isn't working, it dissapears behind every object/background. is this a bug?
Hey Howard and Adobe, this feature looks great and it is more a presentation feature than a design feature. For my daily job, I use XD since the 1st day and I really love it. I used to use Sketch but we get rid out of it more than 1 year ago to replace it by XD and Figma. Please, add a feature to support animated GIFs, animated SVGs and videos!! Presentation software such as Powerpoint, Keynote or even Google Slide offer very poor features for designers, and especially when we have to transpose an XD project into them - we have to redo a part of the work and we have to downgrade the project quality (style, animations, interactivity and so on).

That said, seems a little odd to me that this was added before horizontal scrolling art boards... Would still love to have that as a feature especially since it seems to me like such a simple thing to implement.
Hi all, I am trying to achieve something similar as in the prototype with the augmented reality recipes, however instead of clicking I want the element to pop in front by hovering over it. I tried using hover state however the z-axis cannot be changed between states (if I set z 0 to default state and z 1 to the hovered state, the z 1 updates to all states). Any thoughts?
i have trouble with 3D transform in my project . why the object which i made it can't put into down layer , it always on top please tell me how to fix it thanks man

You cannot, unfortunately. 3D Transforms do not work within components.

Horizontal Scroll Groups can be used to for this. Select the objects you need to scroll, and enable within the Properties Inspector.

If you don't see the XD 34 update, open the Creative Cloud desktop app, go to Updates, click on the ... in the upper right, and Check for updates.

States are not supported just yet, but the team is hoping to make this happen in a future update.
