When I gaze into the night skies And see the work of your fingers; The moon and stars suspended in space. Oh, what is man that you are mindful of him? You have given man a crown of glory and honor, And have made him a little lower than the angels. You have put him in charge of all creation: Beasts of the field, The birds of the air, The fish of the sea. Oh, what is man? Oh, what is man that you are mindful of him? O Lord, our God the majesty and glory of your name Transcends the earth and fills the heavens. O Lord, our God; little children praise You perfectly, And so would we. And so would we. Alleluia! Alleluia! The majesty and glory of Your name. Alleluia! Alleluia! The majesty and glory of Your name. Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! (Alleluia!)
The soloist has a really great voice and the whole thing was beautiful and well-recorded, as well. This is one of the ultimate worship songs! I did think it a little awkward for the soloist not to sing every word of the song.
I, too, was hoping that he would have hit the high Bb. That is what this song is all about - building up to the climax of that high Bb. But he sang it well. Still like Moody's Bible Institute version's better. Nothing will ever beat it.
What a solosit, what a choir, what a song, all glory be to GOD JESUS CHRIST!
Excellent, Brendan! You really glorified the Most High God!
Best version I've ever heard. The soloist was perfect IMHO.
I like our song done with a soloist!! Thank you!! 🥰
When I gaze into the night skies
And see the work of your fingers;
The moon and stars suspended in space.
Oh, what is man that you are mindful of him?
You have given man a crown of glory and honor,
And have made him a little lower than the angels.
You have put him in charge of all creation:
Beasts of the field, The birds of the air,
The fish of the sea.
Oh, what is man?
Oh, what is man that you are mindful of him?
O Lord, our God the majesty and glory of your name
Transcends the earth and fills the heavens.
O Lord, our God; little children praise You perfectly,
And so would we.
And so would we.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
The majesty and glory of Your name.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
The majesty and glory of Your name.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Alleluia! (Alleluia!)
Oh my God! I don't know what to say but "Alleluia, alleluia, praise the Lord!"
My favorite performance of one of my most loved songs.
the soloist exhibits a strong voice. love it. best version yet!!!
Well done, but Sandi Patty does it better.
Very beautiful & worshipful. Thanks.
I have seen a fraction of [God's] glory, and it is awesome. - Bernard of Clairvaux, On the Song of Songs
