Amazing video!👍👏 I just began my comic book collection and found Toon Haven. They have an incredible range of digital comics for every genre, including the hard to find ones. Lifetime updates too!😁
Thanks once again, Robbie. Another great weekly review and, not surprisingly, added a few titles to the list before heading to the LCS. Especially enjoyed your quick summary review commentary on Spider-Man. Gave me a good laugh. Thanks again.
This brings up a good point. If you look at Greg Capullo’s body of work. His pencils truly shine when he has either Jonathan Glapion or Danny Miki inking for him. When he has someone else do his inks, his stuff still looks really good but just a notch below the standard he sets forth in a book like the New 52 run of Batman.
I don't know how many weeks of Energon stuff being up at the top of your rankings for me to fall prey to it...but it's still not gonna be this week. Great work as always.
IMHO: You’re missing out. But, hopefully it’s from an objective stance, and not just to be contrary. I understand if so. #5 brings in the Constructicons in a rad way! All ❤ Batman: City of Madness is my #1 for week Feb. 14
Agreed on the Shawn Martinbrough run on Detective; underrated for sure and the monochrome aesthetic gave it sort of a retro feel to me. He also drew Thief of Thieves with Robert Kirkman which was optioned as a show many years ago. I’d have been interested in the Red Hood book if he’d actually drawn it.
i might give Transformers another shot. i was put off by Starscream squishing a guy, it jut felt cheap and needlessly hyper-violent. hmm... i absolutley loved Cobra Commander though, absolutely riveting
So you like cobra commander that has a scene of him killing a dude for his vehicle but can’t handle a dude getting squished… in a comic. Good lord dude, do you also close your eyes at nude scenes too?
Hi... can someone clear something for me... I've been reading Spawn from issue 1.... when I got to 200s, I read that writer names Will Carlton was actually Todd; is that true? I don't believe it, as will writing was amazing, unbelievable, I couldn't put the book down .... but now with issues 300 onward with Todd as the true writter the writing is SO BORING and basic that I found myself going to sleep after few pages. Please someone tell me was will & Todd the same people, if yes then what happened to Todd's writing? Cheers
Placebo Effect? You thought you were getting a different writer so you thought it was better? Or maybe Todd writes with less pretentiousness when under a pseudonym? I don’t know, I dropped it at around issue 30 back in the day and the only issues I’ve picked up since were the ones Erik Larsen did art for.

Transformers was great! Night Thrasher is life! And I need to check out the Infernals and can't wait to read Sandman.

A man of culure, I see.

I only got Vengeance of Moon knight there wasn’t anything I really cared for
Question: If I nothing about Night Thrasher or any of his related characters (I assume the OG is one), how would you rate the book?
DWJ = Top
Do you like any of the art in the X-men books? I know some can love the writing and hate the art and vice versa 🤷🏿
I'm surprised you didn't read If You Find This I'm Already Dead. It's definitely your type of book.
I’m geeked for the Deviant 🔥🔥🔥

Yes, according to Todd from an interview with bleeding cool, that was his pseudonym.

Double R 👀👍🔥
Transformers and fairy land come correct for me
Chips run on batman is TERRIBLE. I'm gonna say it's the worst ever.
