Knocked down. Hurricane Beryl took more to the ground than just corn stalks. But true to the farming spirit, growers along the Texas Coast are rising from the dirt. Making what they can today and hoping for a better tomorrow.

i remember in early fall of 1982 we got a early hard snow storm in late september it took the green corn to the ground guys had a man on each side of the corn heads with 6ft sticks to help get the corn throught the combines and some gave up and took big stackers to harvest what they could and some just chiseld the corn up,that was one to remember.
