Another super informative video, man! I’m curious as to how much you will budget out for ads before abandoning a shop altogether? Also, do you ever just try and rework a creative to see if that helps performance?
Hey Chris. I've been following your POD store journey and have loved all of the information. I don't have a POD store, but I have a new one product store. How would you focus on the marketing if I can't easily expand my product line? I'm accepting pre-orders while my product is being manufactured and shipped (fulfillment by May).
If you're just starting with very little money, it's wise to start small and test the waters. A good starting point for ad spend would be around $50 to $100 per month on platforms like Facebook or Instagram. This allows you to experiment with different ads, audiences, and product offerings to see what works best without risking too much capital upfront. As you start to see returns and gain confidence in your strategy, you can gradually increase your ad spend.
Chris, when I tried targeting worldwide except those 3 countries like you do, my CPC went to $0.03 🤦, which means it's focusing on very wrong kind of people. I dont understand how you can get $0.50 on the first day of the account 😢
Love your videos man. Have you shared your benchmarks for facebook KPI's anywhere? I.e. you like a minimum of X for click through rate, etc. I'm sure you have, so forgive me if redundant
Hey, thanks Russell. Yeah I've shared them on the miro board chrisheckman.org/miro but here's an overview: CPC (Link click) - $0.50 - $0.75 Conversion Rate - 2.5 - 3.5% Average Order Value - $45ish Target ROAS: 2.5 - 3.0
Sorry, MOQ for what I am going to sell is 100 pcs per size, the price is around 6000€ in production of the bulk of only 6 products , 1400 products in total. Sorry but I don’t have money to produce 50 designs right away 😢. I will add more products with a new collection

Hey! I got a question, If the product doesn't work like you mentioned and you move on on, you can just change your whole store right for a new product? Or just buy a new store? Let me know please!
Imagine you have an online store, but instead of stocking up on inventory, you partner with suppliers who handle the storage and shipping of products. When a customer buys something from your store, you pass the order to the supplier who then ships it directly to the customer. You essentially act as the middleman, earning a profit without the hassle of managing inventory.
How do I join the community cuz I suck at this bro....im like 1000 to 1500 dollars lost without one sale yet...im using easy ads and others but nothing.....I know im doing something wrong just don't know what....how can I get your help. ?
Great info, I sell handmade candles which is my niche I do believe I stand out and am fairly priced i have lots of traffic but no sales at all I've been up for 3 months now. Id love to show you my store and get some feedback.
Consider running targeted ads on platforms like Facebook or Instagram to reach potential customers. Start with a modest monthly ad spend of around $50 to $100 to test different ad creatives, audiences, and messaging. Monitor the ad performance closely and adjust accordingly to maximize ROI.
When you creat a new Facebook page for a new nish, how do you deal with the fact that you have 0 followers, doesn't it impact your credibility? Or do you buy some followers?
Yeah I ask myself the same question, I have a good product, good Shopify store and good creative videos but I didn't get any sell yet (I'm trying for 5 months)

However, after a thorough review, I noticed that your sales, traffic, and productivity have been lacking. As such, I would like to offer some advice and recommendations on how to improve these issues to take your store to the next level.

It depends on you
For printify do you use economy shipping or standard shipping? Economy I notice is cheaper
We use standard
When you say multiple products do you mean multiple designs on shirts or multiple apparel products (shirts, hats, hoodies, long sleeve, etc)
Multiple designs on shirts (we add other apparel options once the store has proven to be a winner)

With the ads do you send traffic to Product detail page or Best sellers page. which is better and WHY?
Best seller collection page because higher AOV (I've tested this on my stores)
@@ChrisHeckmanInteresting - so you have several ads running per unique product, but the link takes you to the bestsellers page?

Try a campaign targeting just the US to start and let me know what the CPC is
Also check that you are optimized for conversions and not traffic
