A lot of times in life you don’t meet your soulmate until later in life. Mordecai had to go through two failed relationships to find out Stef was the girl for him. In contrast Rigby and Eileen met young and maintained a healthy relationship. Along with Eileen helped Rigby mature and he started putting her first.

I like that Regular Show recognize that both of Mordecai's main relationships had run their course and that he shouldn't end up with either of them a lot of other shows could learn from that (*cough* How I Met Your Mother *cough*). You don't have to be with somebody for the rest of your life or your relationship to be impactful and I think Mordecai's ending reflects that.
I was upset when the show ended and saw that Mordecai didn’t end up with either one of his relationships. That was years ago. I’m turning 21 this year and I realized that that decision to make Mordecai be in a different relationship other than CJ and Margaret was the best decision they could’ve made. It just shows that life isn’t always paved in a certain path.
This show is like being in the military right after high school. You get into some crazy shit, wake up drunk in weird places, get in fights with people x2 your size, and everything seems like a big adventurous chore. But then you get out and keep living life as a grown adult and those adventures that forged you become a memory of long ago
The ending was so bittersweet, It’s kinda sad that after all the pining over Margaret and the heartbreak that Mordecai went through, he just ended up with someone else and he just left his old life behind so easily, but at the same time he settled down and ended up loving someone else and had kids.

It’s a case where seeing these characters living their lives felt satisfying and earned compared to most shows which just did that because other shows do it.

When the finale was released, I was still a kid. I remember that the episodes were shown randomly and without much continuity in Cartoon Network, so this episode was like any other for me. When the episode ended, I was in shock. That was the finale. Regular Show is one of the best series I've ever seen and I miss it so much...

This show along with adventure time, amazing world of gumball, and total drama island was a staple of the 2010s all 4 are so good and sure amazing world of gumball may have lost some of its charm due to the constant reruns nowadays but I remember being so excited watching these shows back then and catching the new episodes come on at from 7-9pm but all good things come to an end eventually.
