Ya akhi, May Allah bless you and keep you steadfast. You can strive to pray the night prayer so that Allah may answer your prayers. Imam Ash-Shafii said the Dua during the night prayer is like an arrow that does not miss it's target. You can also seek beneficial knowledge my dear brother and implement it in your life gradually. May Allah bless you my brother.

Bilal Baghdadi wa alaykum asalaam The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said " That the most severely punished on the day of judgement are the picture makers" [bukhari] There are other ahadith mentioning the impermissibility of taking pictures and the scholars are united on the opinion that it is haraam except for necessity e.g passport photo , identity , medical pictures etc. Pictures of lifeless things are allowed e.g. Trees , sky etc. A picture that does not contain the head is also allowed as the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said in an authentic Hadith " The image is the head so if there is no head then there is no image". As for videos there is a difference of opinion regarding whether it is allowed or not. So some scholars believe that it is permissible and some do not. Shaykh Al-Fawzan ( in the video) states that he doesn't allow people to record him however, he does allow the live transmission of his lectures in which the lectures are not recorded. I hope that I have helped you in this matter . Please have a look at these authentic websites that discuss the topic of pictures and videos with proofs from The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and the noble scholars as their speech is better than mine.
I O: Allaahumma baarik. I have always wondered about something that you have mentioned about trees in your comment. Are they really lifeless or do they have life (soul)?
Sajid Ridwan From what is apparent they do not have life (as the following narration may state): While I was with Ibn `Abbas a man came and said, "O father of `Abbas! My sustenance is from my manual profession and I make these pictures." Ibn `Abbas said, "I will tell you only what I heard from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) . I heard him saying, 'Whoever makes a picture will be punished by Allah till he puts life in it, and he will never be able to put life in it.' " Hearing this, that man heaved a sigh and his face turned pale. Ibn `Abbas said to him, "What a pity! If you insist on making pictures I advise you to make pictures of trees and any other unanimated objects." Sahih Bukhari (2225) However it could be the case that Allah may bring the trees to life (if we look at this hadith): It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say, ‘The Jews will fight you and you will prevail over them, then a rock or a tree will say, “O Muslim, here is a Jew behind me, (come and) kill him.”’” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, no. 3593). Again, Allah knows best barakallahu feek

Why is he reciting the hadith as if reading quran?
Ippo Makunouchi because he knows it by heart, I wish I had this blessings the people of the past did. May Allah preserve and forgive them.
Ippo Makunouchi it's easier to memorise that way however it's better not recite it like Qur'an
