As an EDC bag, I carry a Swiss Gear vertical boarding bag (from Target). It has many pockets and pouches. I like to be organized, and this small bag works well. Also, the bag was less than $25.00.
Robert Winkler I am on board with you 110%. I am a bit of a neat freak myself. the more pockets the better. it's a nice bag. let me know how it holds up for you. a lot of times the less expensive stuff is better quality. I'm curious to know so make sure to check back in!
You would think that most people would not need advice on what to carry and what to carry it in as it is mainly common sense, but apparently some folks do. I do believe that in a lot of cases its all about "how much stuff can I get in my bag"....just in case it my be useful - A sort of toys in a toybox man thing. What did our fathers carry in the 1950s (yes, I'm now one of the older generation)? My father wouldn't dream of carrying a bag of any sort. He carried keys, lighter, cigarettes, pen and a wallet, all of which were stuffed in his suit jacket pockets. How things have changed. Having said that I have just ordered (on my wife's instructions) a Maxpedition Neat Freak man bag/man purse/organiser/EDC, whatever bag. I think it'll suit my needs and I won't be looking for things I don't need to stuff in it. At least I will be able to carry my own stuff and not have to stuff it my wifes hand bag which is usually overloaded anyway. I'm with you on the buy the bag to suit your needs and not buy a bag and try to fill it point. All good advice.
+David Cooper I can see where you are coming from Dave. My grandfather didn't carry much and I'm sure my great grandfather didn't either. I suppose we carry so much as more of a comfort factor. We are spoiled these days. Alot of people don't know that you can survive with so little as long as you are capable of being creative.
Kalo Naastepad i was about to say something but I didn’t wanna be an ass lmao then i see this and im dead lol my job is actually deathly somtimes and i love the adrenaline i get doing some of the crazy shit i do he is right tho on some of the things you need
I don't understand why you guys can not make these educational videos with out using brand names??? Are you trying to teach us or are you just another click bait infomercial channel??? If you seriously want to share useful information there is no need to name a brand to describe the features of the pack is there??
I agree simple and straight forward edc. For just a cell phone wallet and your core edc is the 511 moab 6 the better way to go ?
Great video and a lot of excellent points. Stay safe out there. Scott
