  • Welcome back fellow riders,
After the first harescramble race, it was obvious to me that I needed some seat time to build endurance if I wanted to be able to compete. Despite my tendonitis (Tennis Elbow), I have been putting in a little bit of seat time.
However, I spent many hours last winter building a 2km loop to help me practice in the comfort of my own area without needing to travel anywhere. My trail building skills are not amazing as I tend to make things too tight and I don't have a lot of straight sections. However, this track is one of the best I was able to make so far. Lots of turns, some side hills, some short up and downs. It has a little bit of everything.
There is still a lot of work required on the trail as some sections are already overgrown since I barely rode in it. It was also obvious that I have to mark the trail a little better as I missed a few turns.
Overall, it was a great day and every little bit of seat time will help! I hope you enjoy.
