Possum is amazing and I feel like the choice of actors to play the characters was perfect and I love how possum can be perceived in many different angles from only watching the film. I love how everything’s implied and not just shoved in your face and that if you watch it more then everything makes more and more sense but becomes scarier because you know what everything means. I also love how it so shown as a silent film because the silent moments are a time to just think about what has happened and they let you really focus on the intent of the actions and the visuals put on screen All over this film is amazing and deals with the thought of trauma being physical and being embodied around you is amazing
Love Possum, and it's definitely a horror film. I also think it does matter how it's labeled, so that people who are specifically looking for horror films not only find this movie, but to be prepared for the extreme psychological horror of the film. It's a thriller as well, but much heavier on the horror aspect than the thriller aspect. In my opinion anyway. On a side note, you guys should consider re-uploading this video after normalizing the volume. With the volume set at 30 on my TV, most everything is a bit loud, but I have to crank this to 75 to hear it well (and shut off all my windows sounds, or they'd be shockingly loud). Just a suggestion. Would probably get more viewers watching the whole interview...
I would love to see Possum as an illustrated chapbook with the front cover being the poster image. Did they even make posters for this film? I can't find any online.
Just saw Possum and thought it was incredible, great work! im also a huge fan of dark place so it really great to see Matthew venturing into horror
Wtf was the close up at 3:15?
Lmao.. Clearly something happened in the two shot so they had go crop in to cover it
A classic gut shot.
Holness also did a short called "A Gun For George" and its SUBLIME
That's on RUclips. It is very amusing. Especially if you're familiar with films such as Get Carter.

He wanted to write a collection of short stories....then this genius churns out Terrortome and Incarcerat. And they are masterpieces!
