I’m staying with you G!

I listen to true crime all day every day. The 2 cases that have really stuck with me…Travis Alexander/Jodi Arias, and this case. Oddly both immersed in Mormonism.
There are plenty of cases involving children (sadly), but it's amazing to see how many LE personnel, journalists, podcasters and ordinary people like me that were horrified by this crime, came together and stayed until justice was served. I feel like many friendships were created in real life and online. I've never witnessed the media become so personally involved with victims and their families. It's the only silver lining in this awful mess. Tylee, JJ, Tammy and Charles have touched our hearts and we will never forget them.🙏❤
I think that's pretty indicative that Lori finally lost confidence in Chad. In that last call the day before Chad was arrested, you can hear the frustration and annoyance in her voice as she presses him for reassurances. Her defense strategy to not implicate him might have just been to help him stay out of prison so he could keep working on getting her out. My money is on that his slug-ness has become apparent to her.
I think the only reason they never communicated is because they didn't know they COULD. It's not information the jailers would probably want to tell them.
I feel very bad for Tammy even more now after listening to Emma and Garth testify. They really had no regard for their mother. I can’t help but wonder if law enforcement had insisted on an autopsy on Tammy, the other deaths could have been avoided.

I don’t believe John or Patsy or their son killed Jon Benet. This was the problem with the Boulder PD not securing the home or searching it properly from Day 1. They decided immediately that John was guilty because he was the father of the little girl who was a child beauty queen. I don’t like Websleuths much either, I think they interfere in getting real justice. If John were guilty, why is he still seeking justice for his daughter, nearly 30 years later? It doesn’t make sense that a perpetrator would do that.

The conditions on Death Row r horrendous… I can’t imagine living w/out ever touching a loved one again. But, what he did was horrendous.! He is going to wish he took a plea deal.
In many prisons you can purchase a cheap aluminum wedding ring but no outside rings are allowed. I imagine he won't even wear a ring in there. I wonder if he and Lori will be able to be in touch? I know Emma supposedly send money to Lori for her commissary monthly. I wonder if they will give money to Chad? Gosh, yes, no victim bashing. I wish the defense could have held to this rule.
If anything, it’s a better location for him to be on death row so he cannot give his ideas to other inmates, because he doesn’t spend time alone with others. I don’t want him to actually get the DP, however it’s a good place for him to sit and think about his actions.

There was a documentary done several years ago that brought together experienced investigators and medical examiners to analyze the evidence in this case. They agreed unanimously that the most likely cause of Jon Benet's death was a club to the head with a large flashlight that was in the house, and her brother Burke likely is the one who hit her. Apparently that kid had anger issues and was often irked by his little sister. That's why the family covered everything up. I wish I could remember the name of the documentary but it can probably be found in a search.

Why cheer? I found that so weird that people cheered? It’s death and depravity and somber ruining of many peoples lives and many of us crying from this case. People cheering like it’s a celebration is warped to my eyes. Same as with the scot Peterson case in 90’s. These are very heinous murders. The worst sadness. It’s not joyful and the guilty verdict was obvious from 4 yrs ago. The public mentality is way out of touch almost sick 🤢

He chose not to take a plea deal. At this moment, he is on death row..exactly where he belongs. Evil.

I would say I'm "not huge on the death penalty" either, but honestly, I've never cheered on ending a life the way I did at the end of this trial.
Why cheer? I found that so weird that people cheered? It’s death and depravity and somber ruining of many peoples lives and many of us crying from this case. People cheering like it’s a celebration is warped to my eyes. Same as with the scot Peterson case in 90’s. These are very heinous murders. The worst sadness. It’s not joyful and the guilty verdict was obvious from 4 yrs ago. The public mentality is way out of touch almost sick 🤢
@@Juke582Scott Peterson was in 2004. I don’t agree with cheering but I do agree with sighs of relief that Chad isn’t going to be out after 20 years serving on good behavior.
Gigi I love your show and I REALLY want to hear you, but I live in Arizona and it’s in the high hundreds with fans and air conditioners running. My external iPhone speaker just can’t broadcast your volume loud enough and I wouldn’t be asking to turn it up because I can hear the others just fine.
