Mega Man Legends 2 - Mega Man Trigger vs. Sera (Shining Laser)

These are the final boss fights in Mega Man Legends 2. I simply did them to show the change in difficulty between this game and its prequel, which was also why I used the Shining Laser only. In the first game, you can finish the final boss in seconds using the Shining Laser, but even with the weapon fully upgraded, crazy dodging is still needed in the second game when fighting Sera. Like in the first game, I upgraded the Shining Laser to its maximum here too. Ridiculously, the game now asks for a total of 16,425,000 Zenny, which far exceeds the 835,000 Zenny in the first game. I think the reason is that you can now earn money easier. But still, you can't get that much money even if you max out your wallet, which forces you to spend in portions.
Though I came across guides saying that you can get 10% off for Special Weapon upgrades for peeping Roll bathing (=.=), I found that it's not always true, as there is a hidden 'favor counter' for Roll. You can only get discount when the counter hits 16384, which I didn't succeed in doing, so I had to earn money for more than 2 weeks. 2 FREAKING WEEKS. To see how the counter works, check here:

EDIT: Turns out I actually GOT the discount hahaha. The original total cost should be 18,249,999 Zenny. A guide misleadingly gives the discounted cost, so I guess the writer didn't realize he was enjoying the discount.
As for the battle, I've practiced for tons of times and was still getting hit today. I'm quite disappointed at Final Sera for not using her laser beams attack in this video, which did not make quite a challenge. But why is using a maxed out Shining Laser a challenge, then? There is a limitation for using such weapon, which is the immobility of Mega Man. I think this alone makes a little challenge, plus I just wanted to show the difference between using the Shining Laser on Juno and Sera, so yeah.
