Gal Nevo why is 9/11 your only example? most of this catastrophies happened to people that didn't really believe in him, and then said he had abandoned them; but in reality, these people were never with him in the first place. besides, everything He does has a prupose. even if we don't like it... it's sometimes for the best. please try to learn a little bit before you comment.
Gal Nevo and the thing with the milk you said is only a very old belief nobody really does anymore (apart from some very traditional jewish communities) AND we don't picture ourselves as the "chosen ones" we have faith that his path is the one and only path that'll lead to our salvation.
I don't think you should say that people who believe won't suffer the same catastrophies as those who don't believe because we do.
The difference between a believer and the non-believer is the fact that the believer has no reason to fear death from catastrophies.
Unless the rapture happens first every single one of us will die day someday and it could be the result of a catastrophe.
It's easy to say "I'll trust God" but when you are on that life or death situation. Everyone who said I'll trust God might lose their faith. So don't claim you can or blame others why they can't trust God. If you haven't been on this situation.
Poor man, we all should believe in god and faith in god. He never say anything that can harm us. So trust in god stay happy and awesome.
We never know the Gods plan. We just need to FOLLOW Him no matter what. Even you're going to die God has the plan for you. Just keep follow him and you'll safe even for 100Years.
Sometimes we are just right there, the victory and relief are very close but we fail because we don't trust God enough 😢... oh LORD, please make me more faithful than I am right now to always trust in you.

TRUSTING GOD EVEN WHEN YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND
When you ask God to do something for you in your life, you’re trusting God to do it or you wouldn’t be praying to Him about it. When you are NOT getting what you want and you do not understand what is going on - - do you still have trust in your Father? When things are happening in your life and you just don’t understand, remember Psalms 37:3 where it tells us to “Trust in God and not to lean upon our own understanding and do good”. When everything in your life seem like it’s falling apart - - Trust God and do Good. God’s word is medicine for our soul. The one thing that is the solution for everything that ails us is called “TRUST GOD and DO GOOD”. When we Trust in Jehovah, the side effects are peace, joy, confidence, stability, and overall better health. When we Do Good, the side effects from that is extreme happiness and rewards stored in heaven. If we were to know everything that God knows there would be no reason to have Trust in Him. He reveals things to us based on what He knows we can handle and understand. God offers us the opportunity to TRUST Him. It’s challenging for us sometime because we may not understand what God is doing or why it’s taking so long, but what helps me is knowing that trust requires some unanswered questions. If we have all the answers, then we no longer need to trust God. But while you don’t have the answer, be thankful that you CAN Trust God and through that you can have peace.
I wish everybody would have an experience like this with God. But unfortunately there are still people out there who are in desperate need of Him and think too rationally to trust him. When are they going to notice that for God nothing is impossible? Impossible is just a word that we humans made up when the devil put doubt and fear in our heads. If our God was powerful enough to make a whole universe by just commanding it then you can be sure that He is powerful enough to help you with whatever it is that you're going through. All you have to do is pray with faith.
I suppose it depends on individuals...some say they believe in God..but go ahead making their own lives...some have belief in God they wait for him to bring .. people in their life...the latter may not have as much a strong body..god just made them that way.. softer....the difference may be very subtle so it is misread!

As a cradle Catholic I just had a thought most SUCCESSFUL people who were Atheists, who didn't PRAY to God, they were SUCCESSFUL because of their own Blood, Sweat and Tears. They were SUCCESSFUL because of their own efforts and not because of God.
I'm never sure if I can trust in God but if I ever need anything to help me from danger I can always look up to him and ask him please always be by my side Lord

The one part of this narrative that's missing is in the beginning. God doesn't just call you out into darkness without first teaching you to trust him. You can learn theoretical/biblical faith from reading the Bible but real faith has no better teacher than experience and that's where God comes in. After teaching you, He leads you out into the dark because by now you are acquainted with how He leads you.

In life we do trust some things and some people. We have to become smart enough to know what and who to trust, and what and who not to trust. Never give the trust that belongs to God to another person. We can trust others and ourselves to some degree, but God is the ONLY one we can COMPLETELY and TOTALLY Trust. We have to trust that God is going to give us the very best for us in His timing and in His own way. The word of God fixes everything that ails us. It fixes our mind and shows us that doing things our way does NOT lead to making us HAPPY. God is always RIGHT - - No matter what we think or how we feel - - He’s ALWAYS RIGHT! The whole Bible is about ‘Do this and live a quality life that’s worth living or do this and be miserable.’ It shouldn’t take us a lifetime to understand this. God’s word is medicine for our soul. Psalms 37:3 tells us to TRUST (meaning to lean on, rely on, and be confident) when it comes to our Heavenly Father and for us to do GOOD. The most powerful thing you can do when you're hurting is to do good for somebody else. When we do good for others it makes us feel extremely happy and we know our reward is stored in Heaven. Richard DePriest I don't know what is making believe that God has nothing to do with your life, and I don't know what has happened in your life to hurt you, but I have to say that Jesus is real, and He loves you. He went to the Cross and had you in mind. This world its reject God and its going to turn its back on God, but you don't have to. This world will come up with every excuse on why God is evil with out even looking at Scripture. You have to go into The Bible and ask God to help you see. Because when you listen to this world rather then going in for yourself your are always going to be deceived. Jesus has a plan in your life, and He loved you enough to save you from hell. You can live in sin that'll take you no whether during this life and take your soul no where, or you turn to Jesus and go somewhere. This is just a story where the author wants us to know whenever we lost, doing sins, in trouble, etc.. there is God who always be there for us and want us to learn to trust in Him. I not mad at you but still loved you no matter what happens. God grace will make us realise how great is His love and that make us surrender to Him and built faith in Him. Sin less attractive but living in holiness is getting more and more attractive. God bless!
