I jumped about 10 yrs ago. The scariest part starts when the door opens then you hear the wind and next pilot clears you to jump. I was terrified making my way to door. As soon as we jumped the fear went away and you just feel adrenaline and excitement. Also helped that the guy I was tandem with had 300 jumps as army paratrooper and 200 jumps as a civilian.
His 501st jump the chute didn't open. As we said, statistics shows you that your odds decrease with every jump. :) odds are better then being struck by lightning twice while watching the movie twister indoors.
It's probably because it's so loud and windy your body is literally saving you from doing something dumb or dangerous , humans have good defense without us realizing 😂😂😂
I want to see her reaction on the ground. I used to fly hang gliders out of Wallaby ranch in Florida. I had a friend who asked me to take him out for a tandem flight. He was like this right before going up but we talked him into going anyway. After he came down he was literally jumping up and down screaming about how awesome it was.

Dude I’m 23 and I just went for the first time Sunday I can’t even climb a ladder at work without my knees shaking. This is one of the most beautiful moments in my life. The best part is that first leap out of the plane. It’s an amazing experience and I highly recommend it

My question is why did he force her to go out there when she was resisting . If this was her boyfriend that was wrong and if it was the skydiver himself, he should have listened to what she said. I hope this young girl did not have a bad experience I used to think I wanted to do this until I met a 25-year-old girl who came into our office when I was working in an orthopedic surgeon’s office. The patient had sustained completely broken bones in her knee , because the company who was offering the sky diving had not shown her how to properly land . At that moment my desire to do this was “over”. I am an earth sign so for me, I’ll keep my feet planted on the ground as long as I can.
Because at that point….they’re going whether she likes it or not. She signed the waivers. And he signed to jump. He’s not take a boring assed ride to the ground. Guaranteed she thanked him on the ground.
The point of no return is outside the plane. If she was having serious regrets, she should not be forced to jump. Of course she will not get her money back, but landing with the plane is not a problem. The instructor will get paid anyway. Maybe he could have done a better job in making her relax and trust him...who knows. As a tandem instructor myself, i wouldn't want to jump with someone about to panic..
I bet she’s glad he did that! Just be sure to check up with the opinions of others who have jumped with them. If there’s several years of good ratings, nothing negative, zero failures, constant thorough successes, do it up💪❤️🙏🏻😎
Not jump is the worst option. After everybody jump the airplane needs to go down REALLY fast, the pilot needs to take a look in everybody and keep an eye in the one with problems. She will fucking hate stay inside, the fear of death will be bigger inside the plane because your body will acceleratte/decelerate a lot of times and there is no need to have someone screaming and kicking while you try to make a safe return. If someday you decide to stay in a skydivers plane you will see. The jump part is the easy one.
@juniorjpereira she's strapped into another human who is trained. They will be able to land even if everyone stays aboard. It's just common sense to be able to do that. A good instructor would never do that to a person. This guy should be fired. I'd be suprised if an instructor can legally force a civilian to jump from an aircraft.

500 jumps is an absolute minimum USPA would allow for a tandem instructor. Most guys who do it have multiple thousands of jumps.
