Ive watched several of these 100 days videos and ive come to a realization. This man...doesnt learn. Some of your deaths are circumstance but the majority are "i can do this, im the main character" related lmao. Good content, very enjoyable to watch but highly frustrating being able to see the enevitable coming. 10/10 deserving of a creator award.
I got the frog early on in my most recent run and boy is that going to be my priority for every new start from now on. They get you around pretty easily, they're decent in a fight, they can outrun pretty much anything AND they get all the chitin you'll ever need. Great starter mount and they often hang by the edge of the swamp so you don't actually have to go into the swamp to get them. I got lucky and scored one on day two a little to the west of where you set your starter base.
I’m so excited to continue this 100 days series. I hope you keep it going. A lot of people restart the beginning of each world to the point every time I start a stream or a series it feels like I’m just watching the same stuff from the beginning of ark, taming t Rex’s, fight the first few bosses, then they cut the series and start all over again. I like the continued series idea cause it actually shows the ways you can further advance in the game after the basics that every RUclipsr does. Thank you for the series and I can’t wait to be back for the next hundred days and I hope you keep the same Dino’s and survivor as you load up the next world when it finally releases. Thank you for the great video it was both entertaining and informative to the new ASA
I love this game because of moments like “getting hit off the cliff” when you survived, turned and saw that thing standing there in the moonlight looking at you curiously. It was horror from the first Jurassic Park movie
I love how you instead of brainlessly grind, mate, imprint, go caving and fighting bosses, you actually played to have fun and took your time, one of my favourites ark ytbers.
Off the beach you would find tons of oil, it's the blue/purple corals. Found like crazy in the whole south zone in shallow waters. Just know metal pick an anky are the best for it still. But way easier than snow area.

I love Thylas for caves but they are fairly big. Try Baryonyx, Sabertooth, Terror Birds, Dire Wolf, or a male Megalaceros. Are decently strong and with smaller collision boxes for tight bits. (lol, finally got to the point in your video where you realized this for yourself).

Just so youknow syzen if you want to mass craft ascendant saddles, you can, with a theri. Theris are BY FAR the best at gathering hide. As long as you allocate the "extra" levels into power harvesting you get more than a chainsaw. Youll get about 900 from a bronto and like 600 from normal creatures. I know my comment as im just another random commenter you "cant trust" but just at least give it a try man, i did and you will not be disappointed. Theris are insane gatherers for wood n fiber too. Or even berries if you want them to be. Theri on top of grinder you should easily be able to craft saddles.

Jokes on you, I got HMCC on sale for like $10 on Steam. However I do want Ascended despite the Island being the only map. Although there are mod maps, I've seen Svartelheim already as a mod map for Ascended.
by the way.. tip. in order to use kite traps to work you literally have to pick them up and drop them in and or stand in it lead them in and place the walls to block it in.
Idk if you figured it out as I'm commenting as you commented about the penguins but you could tame a pelagornis and get a crap ton of organic poly from penguins. they are still up there but a little more scattered around the top left the snow biome. on the ice burgs and the main land a bit.
Cant tell if he did it because he knew and wanted the handicap, or if he legit didnt know. But the Rhynio lets you pick up even rexes, with just under the lift weight of a quetzal, as well as being able to pick up objects the way the mech suit does on Gen2. So. Look forward to having an easier time moving tames next time lol

Future reference, after you ghost into the mesh mount your "meshed" tame, and then redo the ghost command. 😊 Then fly out through the mesh, and then type out your walk command.
Probably already said somewhere, or maybe you find it out later in the video, but in the emote wheel you can disable your hat, so you can wear one but not wear one. Very sexy

The generator also powers the chemistry bench grill and fabricator meaning they no longer need gas either. so you wasted a lot of gas post generator lol.

I use terror birds for most caves, fast and strong and they dont torpo easily. Small enough to fit in all caves except skylord cave. Hold Q to keep things from snappin when building

You can pick up the Rexs with the big bug and the ammo is converted from sap. You have to put it in its inventory and it turns it into resin

I found a lvl 150 rex with baby on day 4 and killed it. The baby got the level boost, and I now had a lvl 225 Rex on day 5 xD

If you didn't know, in the emote wheel you can emote "hide hat". It'll make it so you can wear a helmet without it being visible!
