- The Valley Relics Museum... once in a while there's a place you hear about thats so epic, you keep it on the back burner. Well, no longer! We journey to Van Nuys California to see a museum of Pop Culture unlike any other! Old Neon, advertising, collectibles, vintage cars, video games, and so much more! I've been all over America and never seen a place quite like this, especially just a few miles down the freeway from Disneyland! Come along and visit Valley Relics, who happens to be hosting an epic Pop Culture auction event by Peekaboo Gallery called Consumerama... if you love what's in Valley relics, this is like a chance to own stuff that fits right in!

Such a great endeavour. Preserving the everyday, location markers of history. Memories on display. I'm from the Cental Valley and there were so many huge neon's on the highways. Sure would have like to see those again. Like the Orange shape burger stands on Hwy 99.

Speaking of Kentucky Beef when Arby’s first started. I remember Roy Rogers had a roast beef sandwich restaurant on Lincoln near Euclid in Anaheim back in those days. Justin I also saw a sign for Loves Barbecue Pit over your shoulder. There’s was on on Beach Blvd close to Knotts Berry Farm that was there for years. That place brought back memories. Thanks for doing it!
This is amazing. I've been following your adventures for 7 years now, I've met you at Disneyland once but have you seen you at the parks multiple times bigfoot style, however this video has left me shocked. Shocked because this place is literally waking distance from me, where I have lived my entire life and driven by on Balboa COUNTLESS times, and seeing you in my backyard is absolutely surreal. I hope Northridge/Van Nuys treated you well on your visit and if you ever want some good eats next time you're at the museum, Blue Palms Brew House just one the other side of Roscoe is a great spot with great vibes.
Regarding the museum itself, I've been wanting to go for a hot minute now but I think this seals it that I need to go ASAP. If you can come all the way from OC to visit then I can walk over one of these days haha

This is very cool. I have not been there, yet. Speaking of Huell Howser, my husband and I were watching this video thinking about him, (you have a Huell Howser kind of interview vibe) ❤ we got to meet him in 2007 at an event they had at the mission tiki drive-in, in Montclair California, which is now sadly closed. They were showing some old classic B movies there that night and the tiki lounge band "The Martini Kings" played. It was so much fun ❤

You need to check out "The National Neon Museum", in The Dalles, Oregon. It is a fantastic place, you will get your mind blown.
Just by the thumbnail, I thought this was going to be a tour of that place where Bob Gurrs bday was held. I came from Houston and went to that. This museum looks a lot like that place.

The best part about VRM is the BMX collection. Which you didn't cover any of. Some of those vintage bikes are worth 10's of thousands of dollars. And were a major part of valley history.
