@@jimthorleydronefootage just struggling to get out in this weather. plus i had to cut 20 feet off a tree in my garden and decided to make a willow style chair from it, its taking forever. but the good news is i started taking creatine, its a sorta food supplement, muscles feel a difference, now just gotta slowly try and get some strength back.
I've had my avata 2 about a week, how do you find the range and transmission signal? I'm finding the EU version very poor compared to my Mini 2 drone 😢
My range is very good but you want to put the ham file on the sd card in the goggles and buy drone tweeks app videos on youtube how to do this it will help a lot or you just need to stick with the ce mode unfortunately that's not dji but euro regulations my friend
@@jimthorleydronefootage Yes ive heard about the hack, just very sad that potentially people may need to use it. I thought the UK wasn't in the EU anymore 🤔 so wondering why we are forced with the Avata 2 being so badly affected by such poor transmission. I think the avata 2 in its current setup ie CE ( EU) restricted is more dangerous potentially, then the FCC model, ive not long had my avata 2, but having flown drones since 2016, starting with a Phantom 3, Mini 2 and now Avata, I've been shocked to see how limited the range and transmission is, very easilly could lead to more accidents
@mrshawnwilliams1 just do the ham file and get drone tweeks no-one will know and agree with how poor our signal is but it's Britain as well as Europe who have these regs and obviously the better the signal the safer it is 👍

I've just tried the ham file , unclear if it's worked as not flown and have seen videos saying the ham file only works for avata 2 if using the full controller??

The mini 4 pro with its ocusync 4 has a much better signal now was always my complaint with the mini 3 pro poor range
