Wednesday is a particularly busy day and due to Ben having a Hospital appointment it was left to Zoe to do more journeys. Homeschooling is not 9-3pm, it’s very very flexible. Zoe & Ben are more than capable of making it a success. So pleased that Zoe has plenty of support should she decide to go down the Homeschooling route. Good luck to them!

Homeschool is what you make of it for your family. It doesn’t have to be sitting at a desk…check out unschooling…so many options.❤❤❤I homeschooled my grandson until grade 10, when they moved to the opposite coast. When he started 10th grade in their new city, he was miles ahead of the other kids, and knew French. People don’t understand socialization with homeschooling either…My grandson was on an ice hockey team, swim team, played basketball, lacrosse, Krav Maga, MMA, Kick Boxing, karate, rollerbladed, played chess at the local library every week, had friends at Church, and volunteered as a junior leader with Vacation Bible School, when he got too old to be in it (12) for 4 years. We had loads of fun, and when he was 11, we went to Europe for 85 days! Lots of learning and more fun! He kept a wonderful journal, including drawings (he’s an amazing artist). We met so many lovely people everywhere we went. I dearly miss those years/days.❤
Our oldest son lives in North Dakota and their high today was - 4 with a wind chill of -24 degrees and their heater went out but thankfully he was able to get it fixed. It's suppose to get even colder for them. Its getting cold here in South Carolina but nothing like ya'll are experiencing or our where our son lives. Our two grandchildren are home-schooled and they have blossomed. They love it and it's very good for Shelby Grace because she suffers from anxiety, quite severe at times. Just keep her in your thoughts if you will.

I know how you feel Zoe. I like you was a skinny mini due to starving myself for all my teen/ early 20’s. My twin sister had no bust but I did so some people referred to me as the “Fat twin” even though I wasn’t overweight at all. Even now at 63yrs I can still feel that way 😊

Erin so true ❤ ive homeschooled my youngest coming up 7 yrs shes autistic selective mute adhd and we stuck with school for years then had to make the decision which took years to think about after her doctor said it would be best decision aswell that was the day i decided it was tough and a shock at first we would find routine then if life happed we would be all over etc my mum died 3 months into it and as next of kin i was everywhere then slowly we got bk into it we love it now you will find what works for you thats the beauty of home learning you find what they like can do etc and tou work it around tge family all the best ❤

I so get the weight/diet body image thing. I’m now 56 and this is the first start of the year that I havnt been on a diet. I’ve dieted since I was 11 and my mam was told by doctors that me and my sister should be on a diet. We weren’t large as children just a little ‘chubby’ and we have been in every diet plan, group, pills and fads since then with some success but ended up larger than when we started due to getting board and changing plans. I have spent so much of my life not going places, not wearing certain things and not socialising thinking ‘I don’t look nice enough to do those things. I’ve stopped eating only to limit myself to a few grapes or an apple a day and also because of slimming clubs using laxatives as I knew I’d not lost that few pounds without it to the point I can’t use them at all now as I get excruciating stomach cramps. I’m so done with diets and I’m quite happy in my own skin now. I don’t judge people ever everyone is different and as long as that person is happy that’s all that counts. Thank you for bringing this up your a lovely person inside and out xxxxx

Zoe I have learn’t mind not until I was in my forties that people say these things because they zoom in on peoples’s sensibilities. They really are very hurt individuals who attack and hurt before they are. Feel sorry for them, you are a very kind, humorous person who makes me laugh you are also very beautiful naturally even though you won’t believe me. Thank you Ben and family for your vlogs.
Zoe you are amazing and you and Ben always find a solution when an unexpected situation happens because you are a team and so are your children and yes kindness does make someone’s day I love listening to you rambling as you call it 🤣🤣🤣 but something you say may help someone else who maybe struggling too, I am struggling with my weight too and no I don’t like how I look at the moment and when I find most clothes underwear in sizes either small Xs I get deflated and get depressed because not everyone is small or XS, I make a conscious effort with what foods I eat plus I am very fussy with foods plus being in the menopause, I developed IBS, an underactive thyroid, asthma reflux very bad anxiety and asthma so again struggle with foods because some cause flare ups and I don’t know which food does it, I also have arthritis on my spine too. Thanks for sharing Zoe. I home educated my youngest for 2 years and it was brilliant she learnt so much because unlike school you don’t have a schedule, I did what she could cope with in learning maths and English we did a lot of outdoor learning, visited lots of places, we made cakes and other things, she learnt to use the washing machine dishwasher and learnt to iron social skills are more valuable than writing in a book, I honestly believe some children shouldn’t be at school especially secondary as long as you know basic maths and English, then unless there is something specific a person needs further maths English and they really are not academic then I think some work experience or mini courses in what they are really interested in would benefit them far more better again social skills are so important like running a home even basic car knowledge putting in petrol/diesel/gas, tyre pressure, window wash etc, visiting working farms etc these are also life skills too, most of this is for kids from 11 although younger kids can learn too, forest school are just as good too, you learn far more out and about than sat at a desk 5 hours a day 5 days a week, all the walks you do are very educational and the places you visit again learning everyday, even Landmark Uk they are learning skills there, I wished I had home educated all six of my children when they were younger rather than just the youngest, I was also a childminder for 8 years and my youngest was my assistant so learnt a lot from that too, plus she was an auntie from the age of 7 because there is 13 years between her and the oldest so she has lots of childcare experience but no children of her own yet(she is 27 and has a boyfriend and has endometriosis) she has 16 nieces and nephews altogether x
I follow an American family who home educate, u definately make it work for youre own family, u dont have to work to school hrs. Flo might be easier to get to bed in with the other 3, its trial and error isnt it, thats a gd plan to get a midi sleeper for Agnes. Zoe youre sounding so much more confident about yourself its lovely to hear ❤ my daughter had an eating disorder so i know where youre coming from, all through her teenage years we struggled now at 31 she is healthy and a size 12 with 3 beautiful children. ❤❤❤

You have to be realistic with homeschooling as to what you can do productively and benefit your children. Not being at school doesn’t mean not learning/teaching, Florence is at home and needs a lot of attention, can you really devote the time they will need to learn and develop?

I've got a few tips to help Zoe to relieve the stress of the day its a positive tips 1 lay on the bed close the door and relax with a relaxation CD on 2 make a week shopping list break it down into a few days shopping 3 have a herbal tea 4 just take a moment in your day to sit down and a positive step forward 5 look at a positive time to yourself 6 get your hubby to do the washing and cleaning for you 7 take a deep breath in and breath out slowly 8 get yourself a positive start to the day and chill out 9 don't rush around take your time 10 just make a huge picture of the the things that you do though out the week or a few mins throughout the day Good luck with this it's a positive thing to help and reflect on how much you do
I also hate driving in ice and snow and we are going to get hit hard over the weekend with and next week. With snow and temputers dropping down to -15. I am going out tomorrow to get everything I need for the week. Then just stay home. Really I hate winter.

I know how you feel Zoe. I like you was a skinny mini due to starving myself for all my teen/ early 20’s. My twin sister had no bust but I did so some people referred to me as the “Fat twin” even though I wasn’t overweight at all. Even now at 63yrs I can still feel that way 😊

Erin so true ❤ ive homeschooled my youngest coming up 7 yrs shes autistic selective mute adhd and we stuck with school for years then had to make the decision which took years to think about after her doctor said it would be best decision aswell that was the day i decided it was tough and a shock at first we would find routine then if life happed we would be all over etc my mum died 3 months into it and as next of kin i was everywhere then slowly we got bk into it we love it now you will find what works for you thats the beauty of home learning you find what they like can do etc and tou work it around tge family all the best ❤

I so get the weight/diet body image thing. I’m now 56 and this is the first start of the year that I havnt been on a diet. I’ve dieted since I was 11 and my mam was told by doctors that me and my sister should be on a diet. We weren’t large as children just a little ‘chubby’ and we have been in every diet plan, group, pills and fads since then with some success but ended up larger than when we started due to getting board and changing plans.
I have spent so much of my life not going places, not wearing certain things and not socialising thinking ‘I don’t look nice enough to do those things. I’ve stopped eating only to limit myself to a few grapes or an apple a day and also because of slimming clubs using laxatives as I knew I’d not lost that few pounds without it to the point I can’t use them at all now as I get excruciating stomach cramps. I’m so done with diets and I’m quite happy in my own skin now. I don’t judge people ever everyone is different and as long as that person is happy that’s all that counts. Thank you for bringing this up your a lovely person inside and out xxxxx

Zoe you are amazing and you and Ben always find a solution when an unexpected situation happens because you are a team and so are your children and yes kindness does make someone’s day I love listening to you rambling as you call it 🤣🤣🤣 but something you say may help someone else who maybe struggling too, I am struggling with my weight too and no I don’t like how I look at the moment and when I find most clothes underwear in sizes either small Xs I get deflated and get depressed because not everyone is small or XS, I make a conscious effort with what foods I eat plus I am very fussy with foods plus being in the menopause, I developed IBS, an underactive thyroid, asthma reflux very bad anxiety and asthma so again struggle with foods because some cause flare ups and I don’t know which food does it, I also have arthritis on my spine too.

I home educated my youngest for 2 years and it was brilliant she learnt so much because unlike school you don’t have a schedule, I did what she could cope with in learning maths and English we did a lot of outdoor learning, visited lots of places, we made cakes and other things, she learnt to use the washing machine dishwasher and learnt to iron social skills are more valuable than writing in a book, I honestly believe some children shouldn’t be at school especially secondary as long as you know basic maths and English, then unless there is something specific a person needs further maths English and they really are not academic then I think some work experience or mini courses in what they are really interested in would benefit them far more better again social skills are so important like running a home even basic car knowledge putting in petrol/diesel/gas, tyre pressure, window wash etc, visiting working farms etc these are also life skills too, most of this is for kids from 11 although younger kids can learn too, forest school are just as good too, you learn far more out and about than sat at a desk 5 hours a day 5 days a week, all the walks you do are very educational and the places you visit again learning everyday, even Landmark Uk they are learning skills there, I wished I had home educated all six of my children when they were younger rather than just the youngest, I was also a childminder for 8 years and my youngest was my assistant so learnt a lot from that too, plus she was an auntie from the age of 7 because there is 13 years between her and the oldest so she has lots of childcare experience but no children of her own yet(she is 27 and has a boyfriend and has endometriosis) she has 16 nieces and nephews altogether x

I follow an American family who home educate, u definately make it work for youre own family, u dont have to work to school hrs. Flo might be easier to get to bed in with the other 3, its trial and error isnt it, thats a gd plan to get a midi sleeper for Agnes. Zoe youre sounding so much more confident about yourself its lovely to hear ❤ my daughter had an eating disorder so i know where youre coming from, all through her teenage years we struggled now at 31 she is healthy and a size 12 with 3 beautiful children. ❤❤❤

You have to be realistic with homeschooling as to what you can do productively and benefit your children. Not being at school doesn’t mean not learning/teaching, Florence is at home and needs a lot of attention, can you really devote the time they will need to learn and develop?

I've got a few tips to help Zoe to relieve the stress of the day its a positive tips
1 lay on the bed close the door and relax with a relaxation CD on 2 make a week shopping list break it down into a few days shopping
3 have a herbal tea
4 just take a moment in your day to sit down and a positive step forward
5 look at a positive time to yourself
6 get your hubby to do the washing and cleaning for you
7 take a deep breath in and breath out slowly
8 get yourself a positive start to the day and chill out
9 don't rush around take your time
10 just make a huge picture of the the things that you do though out the week or a few mins throughout the day
Good luck with this it's a positive thing to help and reflect on how much you do
