  • Join us for another exciting episode of #Reflections, our knowledge-sharing series featuring notable designers from India's major metropolitans. In this episode, we explore the innovative world of Ar. Arun Sharma from Atrey and Associates, known for his eclectic architectural forms in residential design. Explore how Arun's distinctive vision transforms the exceptional and innovative utilisation of glass within this residence where insulated glass, particularly double-glazed units (DGU) plays a pivotal role in mitigating heat gain, essential in Delhi's scorching temperatures ranging from 48-55 degrees Celsius. This choice not only ensured a comfortable interior environment but also allowed occupants to enjoy the stunning outdoor landscape. Mirrors and strategically positioned glass elements were utilised to create the illusion of a larger space, while a mirror ceiling amplified the sense of double height. Skylights in the central atrium provided natural illumination, and courtyards facilitated natural ventilation and offered serene green spaces throughout the design. Stay tuned for an inspiring glass journey through the essence of modern design.
