Colorado Springs Veteran's Memorial and Peace Officers' Memorial | Two Local Gems 💎

Memorial Park is located just east of downtown Colorado Springs and serves as a poignant tribute to the region's fallen heroes.
The Peace Officers' Memorial is a relatively new addition to the park and it features a magnificent lion statue modeled after the Lion of Lucerne. It is in a beautiful location near Prospect Lake with Pikes Peak in the background.
The Veteran's Memorial was dedicated in 1968 and has five granite pillars representing the five branches of the military. There are smaller military memorials surrounding the focal piece creating a beautiful and serene place to pay respect to our nation's heroes.
