I miss when TF141 was a whole team, instead of just 4 guys
Yea that's one thing I feel is missing from the remakes. But hopefully TF141 expands to an entire team by the part 3. Right now TF141 has just been created and is barely established, perhaps the events from MW2 will give in-story reason for an expansion of the TF.

It’s a shame Ozone and Scarecrow didn’t feature as supporting characters throughout the campaign, or even the other characters from 141.
Ultimately Loose Ends is when they’re all wiped out so imagine if it was more than just Ghost being killed that upset us, as all these characters you’ve spent the campaign with start getting killed off.
It would be nice to see the Loose ends crew show up if the 141 got more members (it would be neat to see Archer, Toad, Ozone, and Scarecrow)

It's been stated that Scarecrow and Ozone were killed by the mortar fire at the end of the level, since that's the furthest you can get with them if you really try. Also they featured in MW3 Spec Ops DLC Mission Kill Switch, where they detonated an EMP at a Russian comms site with Scarecrow providing overwatch

It's only after an enemy helicpter takes down the scaffolding Scarecrow's on that he becomes an infantry soldier alongside Ozone.

not to mention Ozone and Scarecrow makes a return as both playable characters in MW3 in the specs ops mission where Scarecrow was on the ground pushing through a warehouse and Ozone on a building providing sniper support
In cod4, there's a character called mac that usually appears next to gaz when he pulls out a shotgun in crew expendable and he was the cut demolition tutorial instructor. In the mission heat, he's on the radio call out the incoming tanks when he gets hit and dies. It's these little npc stories that gave the sense of being part of an army rather than just a 4 man squad

He wasn’t the demolition tutorial instructor, he was the training course instructor. They added it into MWR. They also added a new character for the demolition tutorial instructor called Sgt. Newcastle iirc
It sucks how Mac died offscreen during the mission like that and unfortunately got left behind because he died.
Fun fact: there’s a spec ops mission in mw3 where you can play as scarecrow and ozone

If you look deeper into into Elias walker from C.O.D. Ghost you can find out that his code name at one point was scarecrow and in one of the trailers for ghosts they talk about how they based off the ghost team idea off of ghosts from the original Modern Warfare series so the fact that he has a standard character model now just shows that they were putting him in the game as he was in ghosts

if you pay close attention to those newspaper clippings you would come to know that makarov is a lot more than we actually know of him, he was responsible for Piccadilly Circus in og verse similar to that we saw in mw2019 ,there could be lot in there

I always miss seeing the classic 141 guys, it actually felt like a REAL TASK FORCE. Now it’s just four dudes, that’s not a Task Force, it’s a four man squad.
The details of having dozens of other guys (all with different names/nicknames) in 141, the Rangers, the Marines, and Delta Force made it so much more immersive.
Exactly! That’s the main thing I just don’t enjoy about the new Modern Warfares. They genuinely felt diverse and like an entire task force. Not like you said with it only being 4 guys, it doesn’t feel as diverse and unique
Facts, it made it real in the idea that we're at war there's squads of people basically fighting and dying beside you which caused immersion. I thought it was cool because you really felt more connected with the main characters because it seems as if they tried all they could to keep the other npc friendly alive and when one would get shot the main story line npc would push up and engage the enemy that's when you see the whole animation where they flip the guy over an switch to the pistol to shoot the combatant. That's the small shit that made cod feel like a war title.
You do realized that at the end of the Cod MW 2019 campaign, Price was introducing Task Force 141 and he said “Now, the rest.” So, we will see more members in the mw3 reboot.

He deliberately lowers his voice to a growl to sound scary; his real voice is normal lol

Even tho it's only 1 mission I'm glad they made side characters that aren't completely randomly generated I always preferred Ozone over Scarecrow don't know why but I did it's unfortunate that their canon death is the mortar attack if they survive in the house

My favorite side characters in the OG MW trilogy would have to be Kamarov (MW1 and MW3) and Cpl Dunn (MW2)
Kamarovs death was so heartbreaking for me he was one of my favorites

I would replay this mission over and over again trying to see how long I could keep Scarecrow alive. Furthest I’ve seen him make it is to the forest right after you complete the DSM transfer😭
Scarecrows interaction in the door breach is just a randomly generated animation soldiers will do when in cover, waiting, or door breaching. Cool that it happened though.
On minute 1:49 Ghost in OG MW2 he covers his ears for the explosion and in reboot he doesn’t do that

It's nice and cute finding vids like these, I always love insignificant NPC allies in games. These dudes were cool and surprisingly memorable for just being the two other guys who die in this mission, probably because they have several voice lines and moments in this mission.
I miss whenever we played as a self-insert in the campaign with just a name attached to our player. Now they need to show off different characters so they can market them as operators for the only 2 factions. This is why OG CoD will always be better because they didn’t try monetise every single part of the game
You can actually get them generated on other missions. The tf 141 ones without the navy seals. The Brazil levels and the submarine base mission
I swear that these 2 (or at least Ozone) appear as randoms in one of the snow missions before loose ends. The only reason i remember this is because it threw me off when i first saw them outside of loose ends

That's because Ozone is a randomly given name to TF141 members, you can find Ozone in lots of other missions, just like Peasant who's supposed to be unique to TOEDWY.
I’m absolutely certain I saw ozone spawn in the gulag mission with the team so I just like to believe he was actually there and decided to join us in the safe house raid

I accidentally killed taco, thought he was an enemy when I turned a corner and fucking knifed him
Yeah well in Hornets nest I got a TF141 member named Yankee and then in Contingency a guy named Boomer.
People still come back to look at the details in OG MWll, I sadly do not think the same will happen with MWll reboot

In my head cannon for Scarecrow and Ozone’s deaths the sniper is likely a shadow company operator that’s why you can’t find him and the mortar was a lucky shot from Makarovs men. Cause logically speaking in the story it would’ve made Shepherd’s betrayal a whole lot easier

Let's all agree when we played this mission for the first time we all would hide inside the house while Ozen will be one man army outside
I like this mission and one of my strategies is to pre plant claymores around the grass and the doors especially the door you breach (where the enemies run outside once you breach) and 2 claymores on the stairs.
I would take the LMG with the scope and a M14EBR if possible and cover Ozone from the floor above him if possible or I’ll hide in the armory next to the DSM and cover both the front door and stairs with the LMG and ACR (which you have as your primary).
The snipers archer and toad from the start of the mission also die here. When shepherd comes in you hear shadow company on the radios talking about looking for snipers
If you can try playing Wolverines! And try to keep Pvt. Morgan, Pvt Wells and the two rangers on the ground floor in Nates restaurant alive they act pretty interesting. It's pretty hard though.

Random Fact: I saw once in a comment of the Loose Ends OST that Scarecrow was meant to take over Ghost's place, in every TF-141 Missions, so Ghost was going to die before Scarecrow in Loose Ends, but the devs fr said: "skull mask guy cooler", so the Scarecrow bein over Ghost was switched, and Ghost is technically taking Scarecrows place.
In an easier explanation, Ghost was just gonna be a secondary character, being able to die cuz no plot armor in Loose Ends.

The fact that they went out of their way to make scarecrow the same every time but not the others and that in Ghosts, Elias walkers nickname was scarecrow kinda makes me wonder

There was a mod i think, i watch a video where hacks can make you kill shepard early in loose ends and archer & toad will come down to you.
I’m gonna assume that the reason why Scarecrow is a specific character model but Ozone isn’t is because Scarecrow is right inside the living room with the player as the DSM is working while Ozone is somewhere outside.

I've always had one question about this mission what actually happens to Archer and Toad? Do they get killed because I never hear it Iver the comms, or do they make it out? Does anyone know?
I saw a lot of comments saying that you can hear the Shadow company saying something like "hot them hard over that hill" right at the end of the mission, making reference to Archer and Toad
@_feli_1085 Oh, I think I've heard that, but I just presumed that was Makarov's forces.
@@Foxster_13 yeah, and they also said something like "all threats neutralized", after you get shot I THINK. So that would probably mean that all of task force 141 was killed. I don't know truly, the game came out years ago and it's something that will likely never get an answer.
@_feli_1085 You're probably right. It's just one thing that confused me, that's all. Obviously, Ozone and Scarecrow get killed either way, but I just found it odd that I think you never hear the overwatch team after Makarov's men assault the house. I think they mention that they're on the way, but that's it, I don't even think they say providing covering fire while defending the house. I could be wrong again, though. But they're presumably dead.

it kinda disturbs me how realistic Ozone dies. the filter on the game makes it kinda look like recorded footage with how he just drops and you hear a brief thud

I think ozone’s and Scarecrow’s deaths are retconned though bc they’re alive for a MW3 Spec Ops mission.
What people don't seem to understand is that since MW1 and 2 got rebooted, the story sequence changed now, and what we're doing in MW2022 is a special covert operation, not a war, what we were playing on the og MW1 and 2 is a full scale war, while MW2022 is special covert operations, so it's obviousthat the key members Price, Soap, Ghost, Gaz and Nikolai are the only ones deployed, and it's also understandable since they don't know about Sheperd's betrayal yet, and Price at the end of MW2019 literally mentioned that there are other members, my point here is that people think 141 in MW2022 only consists of 4 members, when in fact, there are more, and they are just not deployed because of their operation, I mean like, why are you gonna deploy all of 141 when the missions are literally supposed to be kept a secret

I'm quite sure they die as well, you can hear Shadow Company operators mention how they killed 2 snipers when on thermal vision, so that's likely a reference to them.
