Hey Yasmin! I see your point, maybe “well away from them” seems a bit insensitive to you but I don’t think it disrespects the religion. This is great advice! Sometimes it’s difficult to drag a suitcase further into the island around the main road as we found out when my mum visited because the dirt roads aren’t paved, she ended up having to get a horse back with the luggage

Hello. I've lived in Gili Trawangan since 2016. I own Deep House Bungalows. Your information about our horses is TOTALLY INCORRECT. We have a foundation that takes care of our horses controlling their diets, work hours and health. They are checked monthly by a veterinarian. Take a close look at our horses compared to Lombok horses and you will see a huge difference. You should do better research before you make such negative statements about the Gili islands.
Oh c'mon...the most 'comprehensive' review of the Gilli islands and you don't even go to Meno, which is the most beautiful of the islands, and the most representative of the Bali vibe ..Trawangan is more like Benidorm....
You really need to 'do your research on how the horse and cart drivers treat their horses. You are absolutely 100% INCORRECT. and its uninformed misguided comments like yours that give these guys a bad name. You claim to have done your research....apparently and clearly you haven''t.
I was on the island as I watch a horse faint from exhaustion because it hadn’t had enough to drink and had been working too hard. Even if that happens once it’s one too many times and I saw it with my own eyes. My research in this comes first hand and from what I’ve seen the horses need to be treated better 100%
@@RyanLeeBanks I go-to Gili trawangan at least 3 x a week. The information portrayed in this guys video is wrong and incorrect. You should do better research before you make such negative statements about the Gili islands.
Do not choose samaya one boat, we came with that boat it's wrost experience. Ek Jaya is best.
Good to know! I’ve only ever been on Eka Jaya and Ostina!
Oh c'mon...the most 'comprehensive' review of the Gilli islands and you don't even go to Meno, which is the most beautiful of the islands, and the most representative of the Bali vibe ..Trawangan is more like Benidorm....
And that’s your opinion 😁
How.do you know the horses collapsed due.to exhaustion or not enough to drink? Are you a vet? Did you follow those horses around all day. You went to gili t for 10minutes and all.of a sudden you're an expert
That’s okay, I’m not gonna argue with you, it’s an opinion I’ve formed on the basis of what I’ve experienced and seen as well as information gathered from friends. People that watch this video can go and see for themselves and form their own views and opinions from what they see, that’s the beauty of the world 😊
@@RyanLeeBanks Fair enough. But when makes wrong and misleading statements about where I live it should be pointed out
Tool
Spanner? Drill? Hammer? Which one? 😁
