I had an original Z1 and an early KZ1000. I now have a Z900 and a Z900RS. Love 'em both. The early Z's were good bikes, but no where as capable as the new ones. And as for looks, the Z900 looks badass. Different than the RS, kind of like MadMax in '79. Long live Z900's!
It's funny how Kawasaki have gone from producing one of the most beautiful bikes, not just from the 1970's, but for all time, to now manufacturing one of the ugliest bikes. What is that little bit at the back, stuck right up in the air? I hope they don't think of it as a pillion passenger seat.

What does the plaque near the forks say? Kawasaki?
