I bought a Z750 new ten years ago today it's still running like the day i bought it 76,000 km's later "best bang for your buck" bike i ever bought and this Z900 looks to be even better!
I bought my Z900 3 days ago, and coming from cruisers, it's quite a lot to get used to. I LOVE the way it sounds. So much more power than I'm used to, and it handles like a dream. Highly recommend if you ever decide to snag one.
@@CoryFrederick-hy2wz i traded an xvs1300 on mine back in november. Love it. Dont like the sound of these modern add on exhausts tho. Prefer the old school longer muffler. Made a deeper sound.
I used to live in Canberra and often like to visit the local motorcycle store called Joe's motorcycle. I moved out of Australia about a year ago and am living overseas now, but damn the way you speak reminds me of the good memories I had with the people in general and motorbike lovers in Australia. So many great bikes in this class: Z900, Street Triple, 790 Duke, MT-09... And they (can) all sound amazing as well. I wouldn't know which one to choose.
I just bought a new one off the floor a few days ago and I'm amazed at how light and nimble the bike feels. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING BIKE!! I'm used to fat-tire choppers and never even sat on a sport bike until about a month ago when I bought a fat-tire Busa (which also isnt the best handling bike with the fat tire), and I'm FLOORED by the difference!! Pipe will be the first thing I do.

Have a black and blue '22 Z900. For me, it looks better than some color combos of the Z. But that red and black looks badass. For the $, Z900's are hard to beat. Super smooth, torquey 4 banger. Sold my MT09 and don't miss it.

I just bought a 2022 model and i love it. Its a great bike in my opinion. I am waiting for my full Akropovic exhaust to come in tomorrow so i can install it. Damn it I'm excited. I really wanted an Austin Racing but i could only find the full Akropovic available right now and I'm an impatient person. I need my stuff now. Thats also why i didn't wait a couple of montha for the 50th Anniversary edition. I had already sold my bike and was having withdrawal symptoms after only a few hours. 🤣🤣

I love this channel as well as love Kawasaki too. I had a 650ninja back in 2008 and now been riding Austrian hooligan mechine duke. These days I have almost completed watching every vlog of this channel. He deserves more subscriber for sure. Playing devils advocate, yeah the guy/gal made a u-turn with a bike coming, but they didn't fuck about with it, and it was done when he was far down the street. If a biker see's that ahead and still pins it, then tbh it's their own fault when they hit the car side on. Not the worst driving i've seen, and it ain't illegal to do so.... The problem today is, everyone thinks they're in the right, be it bikers or car drivers, when we should all be taking notice of whats going on, a biker should NEVER expect a car driver to do everything they want because "muh bike", and the same goes for cars. TL:DR, pay attention to what you're doing, regardless of vehicles, everyone has to share the road, no one owns it all.
@@dodo19923 , Yes Agreed, I saw what was going on and never even occured to me that it was an issue, I always look ahead and think that every car is going to something stupid or even,as i am on a small bike (compared to a car) and they are looking for a car they probably can not even see i am there..Ride for your own safety don't expect others to think of you and you should be OK,..
Have same on my z1000 and makes a big difference with a tune. Sounds so good without beating annoying on hwy. Very livable even without the db incert. Very expensive but worth it.
I have the z900 2018 abs model and man it is a blast to ride .. also with full akprovic exhaust system on it :) ... sounds sooo good :D .. no db killer !
The exhaust notes is great for a stock exhaust. That is what a motorcycle should sound. That is why I’m not touching my exhaust for my 2022 Z900 the bike looks great as it is.
I tried this and the RS, like you I'm a big fella, went for the RS , feels bigger and roomier. Both epic bikes thou, Bit naughty! Have a nice day mate, from wet and windy Blighty, not jealous! Much.

I have a 2016 z1000, I did the a twin carbon exhaust full headers all Akro. I had Ivan in Rockland N.Y. do the ECU refresh. The difference is almost unbelievable. Besides all the restrictions gone its running cooler. GOD DAMN it is fast compared to when it was all stock. I would love to come visit 1 day. Great vids. Side Note: Youre too frikin big for that bike, I'm 6'1" and I feel almost too big. Love ya peace out.
Cheers mate, if it were my bike i would do all of that and yes a massive difference, I just put the pipes on to show everyone how much it changes the bikes and what they can do to their stock bikes, Definitely an ECU flash is the way to go..And yes too big for the bike but i am not to worried as i just love riding them, Thanks so much for watching mate...See ya when you are in OZ..
if you know someone who can weld decent, just remove the Cat and breadbox, keep the stock headers and rear muffler and it will sound just as good but for about $100 to $150.
Went into the dealership and all, I meant all , super sport or just sport in general looks so damn heavy, this is built quite well, it's narrow, which I like and I can actually bend my ankle
I have the new z900 2020 with the akra slip-on but it doesn't sound any good, no fuel explosions of any sort. Getting a full system installed within 2 weeks now and I hope this helps with creating some extra sound effects. You reckon this will help? My kawa dealer says it will make a lot of diffrence. I tought the slip-on does all the magic sound wise. Hope to hear your thought. Have a good one! Cheers from Holland
Yes the full system is definitely the way to go, The Cat is in the headers and that is where all the sound exhaust is done, By just putting a slip on does nothing really.You will notice the difference is a great addition to an already good bike...cheers and thanks for watching mate..

Hi mate, Thanks for tuning in,I appreciate the support. We did not tune this one although have seen some after a tune and they do run a bit better. So much for following the Kawasaki suggested break-in procedures especially with the RPM's. LOL nice ride. Sat on one at the dealer, wasn't real comfy for this big guy though the Z900RS was very comfy. Is it true that the Versys 1000 has ben sunset?

In a perfect world you would re-tune the ECU,it would sort out the fuel /air mix better but still rides well as it is. A Woolich tune would sort it, Need to find someone in your area to do this who has the program..There is other programs out there that do work,Talk to your local dealer or Dyno shop, Is a great addition to the bike ...Thanks for watching mate..Enjoy..

The problem with Kawasakis in my opinion is that it's very difficult to let go of the one you currently own. I would happily trade-in a Honda for another Honda but with Kawasakis I'd want to keep them all. They can be an expensive habit. But hey, it's better than wasting your money!

Loads of people don't buy the Z900 because it doesn't come with loads of tech like traction control, power modes, etc. Too many people grew up in the digital age so they find it hard to desire a more analog bike like the Z900. This is a bike for riders not weekenders. I Adore the Z900, but at 1.96 meters tall and 118kg, it's just not quite the right size for me.

Love that sound. Love that bike. Back in my early 20s I had no fear of riding any bike, and recall riding my mate's GPZ900 with him on the bike. Gorgeous bike that would turn itself into a corner just by leaning slightly. Is the present day Z900 the same? Moving forward to present day and I'm now 55 but itching to get a bike and would dearly love a Z900, but feeling somewhat intimidated by it.
I remember riding an old GPZ900 ,Long and low was the feeling,Great bike nothing like the new bikes of today,The Z900 is very light and nimble bike to ride.Would suit someone getting back into riding but didn't want a slug to ride.Good luck getting back out there,You will wonder why you ever stopped.Thanks for watching...Enjoy

We did not put in a fueling module as it seems to run sweet without it, but if i was keeping the system on the bike i would definitely do a tune or module on this bike to smooth out the air fuel mix and not let it run too lean for a long time.Hope that helped, Thanks for watching mate...Enjoy..

Actually, even the stock pipe didn't sound too bad. I like that swishy sound it makes. I know that's the intake sound, but it isn't as evident on the new pipe. And don't listen to these guys saying you look like you're on a toy....Yeah you're a big guy, but you don't look as awkward looking as they make it sound....you look fine on it.

I love mine, and I've only had it for 3 days. I lucked out and got the all blacked out ABS model for $7300 US when they were normally over $8300.

I have a 2016 z1000, I did the a twin carbon exhaust full headers all Akro. I had Ivan in Rockland N.Y. do the ECU refresh. The difference is almost unbelievable. Besides all the restrictions gone its running cooler. GOD DAMN it is fast compared to when it was all stock. I would love to come visit 1 day. Great vids. Side Note: Youre too frikin big for that bike, I'm 6'1" and I feel almost too big. Love ya peace out.

stock sounds pretty good as well :D nice job kawa, you don t need to have some extra 1k dolla at least to take a full aftmarket exhaust
if you know someone who can weld decent, just remove the Cat and breadbox, keep the stock headers and rear muffler and it will sound just as good but for about $100 to $150.

I have the new z900 2020 with the akra slip-on but it doesn't sound any good, no fuel explosions of any sort. Getting a full system installed within 2 weeks now and I hope this helps with creating some extra sound effects. You reckon this will help? My kawa dealer says it will make a lot of diffrence. I tought the slip-on does all the magic sound wise. Hope to hear your thought. Have a good one! Cheers from Holland
Yes the full system is definitely the way to go, The Cat is in the headers and that is where all the sound exhaust is done, By just putting a slip on does nothing really.You will notice the difference is a great addition to an already good bike...cheers and thanks for watching mate..

So much for following the Kawasaki suggested break-in procedures especially with the RPM's. LOL nice ride. Sat on one at the dealer, wasn't real comfy for this big guy though the Z900RS was very comfy.

I was considering doing this with my Z900 but some say must also retune the fuel /ecu ? How do I go about doing that ? Z900's rock !
In a perfect world you would re-tune the ECU,it would sort out the fuel /air mix better but still rides well as it is. A Woolich tune would sort it, Need to find someone in your area to do this who has the program..There is other programs out there that do work,Talk to your local dealer or Dyno shop, Is a great addition to the bike ...Thanks for watching mate..Enjoy..

The problem with Kawasakis in my opinion is that it's very difficult to let go of the one you currently own. I would happily trade-in a Honda for another Honda but with Kawasakis I'd want to keep them all. They can be an expensive habit. But hey, it's better than wasting your money!

Loads of people don't buy the Z900 because it doesn't come with loads of tech like traction control, power modes, etc. Too many people grew up in the digital age so they find it hard to desire a more analog bike like the Z900. This is a bike for riders not weekenders. I Adore the Z900, but at 1.96 meters tall and 118kg, it's just not quite the right size for me.

Love that sound. Love that bike. Back in my early 20s I had no fear of riding any bike, and recall riding my mate's GPZ900 with him on the bike. Gorgeous bike that would turn itself into a corner just by leaning slightly. Is the present day Z900 the same? Moving forward to present day and I'm now 55 but itching to get a bike and would dearly love a Z900, but feeling somewhat intimidated by it.
I remember riding an old GPZ900 ,Long and low was the feeling,Great bike nothing like the new bikes of today,The Z900 is very light and nimble bike to ride.Would suit someone getting back into riding but didn't want a slug to ride.Good luck getting back out there,You will wonder why you ever stopped.Thanks for watching...Enjoy

Did you not need to put a fueling module in it with the pipe and headers ? How much is a full system like that ?
We did not put in a fueling module as it seems to run sweet without it, but if i was keeping the system on the bike i would definitely do a tune or module on this bike to smooth out the air fuel mix and not let it run too lean for a long time.Hope that helped, Thanks for watching mate...Enjoy..

Actually, even the stock pipe didn't sound too bad. I like that swishy sound it makes. I know that's the intake sound, but it isn't as evident on the new pipe. And don't listen to these guys saying you look like you're on a toy....Yeah you're a big guy, but you don't look as awkward looking as they make it sound....you look fine on it.

I am 6'4", It is not my bike we just put the pipe on it so we can show you guys,It is a demo bike.It feels pretty good but is a bit low in the seat for me, I prefer the Z900RS as it sits a bit higher..Thanks for watching mate
