“I watched Boston Legal nine times before I realized it wasn’t another Star Trek!” is such a great reference. At one point that show had William Shatner and René Auberjonois as regulars with Ethan Philips and Armin Shimerman as guest stars. It felt like a weird holodeck episode.
Tina Fey is the modern Carol Burnett or Lucille Ball. Her writing is amazing. There are jokes inside the jokes. You have to look twice to catch the sight gags. Amazing work.
Agree on everything, plus she's hot as hell.
The scene where she replaces the water jug cemented it for me.

I owned the DVDs and have watched these countless times. I literally know every line in every episode. The best part is you hear a different joke every time you watch it. I put these on to go to sleep because I don't need to see the episode anymore. They're memorized. Rather a 30 Rock rerun than reality TV any day

& if how if you claim you're doing edgy/boundary pushing comedy but get totally sulky when some one says a joke went too far or isn't working anymore,

OK, here goes. Kenneth makes a comment that someone "shut up faster than a girl in math class". This may be considered a sexist remark.
Jenna throws her two cents in regarding the same situation with "shuts up faster than a Filipino", but is shushed by Liz. Racist/discriminatory/ Stereotyping. There is no punchline. The point is that they are so blatantly speaking in such a way at work. Unprofessional and socially inappropriate
