*I have the km130 and I removed the spark arrestor screen on the muffler, ported the muffler a bit and adjusted the fuel mixture screws on the carb and now this thing really has alot more torque. I run the cultivator, bed redefiner, 14" pole saw with 2 extension poles, articulating hedge trimmer, edger and string trimmer and this thing never struggles or bogs down no matter how hard I push it. It's truly a little monster.*
I have no problem with my 131, but if I could change one thing, I would switch out the cold unforgiving feeling handle for a softer one. Perhaps a handle from Husqvarna, like the one on the straight staff gas string trimmer.
I really enjoy using my FS 131. Great product and very strong. I put my 94R trigger handle on mine and it has the cruise control on the handle. Makes the FS 131 able to be tapered much better.
Great video, thanks for your review. How would you stack up the 131R to the 91R? I am looking at getting the mini cultivator gearbox attachment and I'm wondering how this attachment performs on one vs the other. Thank you in advance.
Ty! Do you plan on putting on a saw blade for saplings? One salesman said it can cut saplings with the blade attachment and another salesman at same place said I have to move up to the More expensive fs131. Confusing! Ty!
Does yours skip and pop at half throttle like your in the rev limiter,I've purchased one and when first starting it runs wide open fine after it warms up at half throttle sounds like its in the rev limiter any ideas why it might do this dealer has put 2 carbs on it and now trying to convince me it suppose to run this way,I just don't believe a 500.00$ weed eater should run this poorly
It is hitting the rev limiter at half throttle if you're under light or no load. Every 4-mix I've ever ran does this. Either use less throttle or put it in some heavier stuff to cut.
No.but just barely mash the throttle to give it enough rpms to cut around the flowers..its too strong..more of a commercial brush cutting unit. They are adjusted to the lowest of the factory settings on the carburetor.it will cut threw 4 foot grass with full throttle..flowers won't stand a with half throttle.its too strong.. barely mash the throttle,

Did your 131R come with the shoulder harness, or did your dealer make you buy that separately?
