I think Sharon gives the best tutorials because she explains every step of the way and that is very helpful to most of us. I just wanted to let you know that i absolutely, positively 100% appreciate and love what you do. Not many people who do tutorials take as much time as you do to really explain how to make such amazing projects. The brief hints and tips and words of encouragement really go a long way. This is my very first 3-D project and you are completely right it is a bit rough. But I love it regardless(it's a neon green and his name is Mr.Skittles). SIDE NOTE: if you are afraid of the stuffing showing, get some some nylons or "tights" that match and put the stuffing inside of the nylon. It will stop the stuffing from showing or falling out. This also adds to the longevity of your project. Best of luck and thanks foe the pattern!!

I learned some things I never knew -- because I'm still new to crochet. And you are the only one who explained in such detail. One is the trick with the marker, putting it between the stitch, and the other is when you get to the end of the row, remove the marker and crochet the last stitch of the row into where you removed the marker.
Also, when the project begins to curl, turn it, and THAT is the outside of the project. The starting point of the project, with the tail end of the yarn (not the working yarn, but the starting yarn) is actually the INSIDE of the project. I never knew that. I just always kept crocheting not realizing I needed to turn the project (inside out,).
thank you for being so explanatory in what you are doing. I'm learning a lot from you! Too bad this video is 5 years ago! I'd like to know where your other videos are, if you continued with instructional ones. :(

For the eyes I did 2xdbl crochet in black, as you did for the toes, and that turned out great. I added a stitch in each eye with white wool. I'm thrilled with the results. Tried the Dragon too, love it. Thanks again Sharon. x

Curiosity bought me to this channel, I thought wow these are so cute, but they are probably to fiddley and small for me to have the patients it takes to learn something like this and usually instructions on youtube are not very good, because they are usually too fast to keep up and they don't show you fully what they are doing in some instances. You are possibly the best teacher by far for anything to do with crochet and instructions. I have never been able to understand a pattern before but now thanks to you and your patterns I am starting to get more confident using patterns. I still like the visual though....I am a visual person, monkey see monkey do....lol. You have a calming effect and a caring one which comes out in each of your videos. Thank you for sharing your wonderful patterns with us. I really appreciate the time and effort you put into these youtube videos. :)

Anyway, you are right; it took me forever, and by the time it came to assemble them, I was pretty much over that project. Also, I could never get the eyes in the right place. I also would say this is definitely NOT for beginners.
