- This wasn't even supposed to be a thing so some of the clips are super short. Pulled out the DJI Osmo today on a quick photoshoot for 5 min. These are the rough shots, graded and just quickly put together.
It is a mix of 4k down-sampled to 1080 and 1080 120fps footage.
None of it has been stabilized outside of the gimbal itself. Enjoy.

That looks awesome!
Large compression problem on youtube with unclear images, noisy fuzzy and blocky. I hope that this problem be resolved soon but in meantime DJI says nothing about this big problem!
I am travelling to Europe in 3 months, Amsterdam, Germany, France, Italy, & Czech Republic, & I absolutely wish to have great footage to put up. However I am stuck between this unit & getting a Kumbacam for my S6 Edge.
***The S6 shoots amazing footage as is. And it's at 16mp resolution. Also it has less stutter when moving & turning the phone around.
***The Osmo has 12mp resolution however I do notice that it appears much sharper on youtube than any S6 footage. My only qualm is that physically turning the unit produces nauseating jittering. When doing any other motion that relies soley on the gimbal the Osmo seems smooth.
I am fairly confident in the camera I currently own. However if I can get sharper imagery & smooth motion I am up for the buy. Any thoughts?
The 120 fps looks excellent
How do u like it
I've been looking at Osmo footage all week and this is by far the best footage I've seen. I would be buying it mostly to replace a slider, crane, and glidecam for B-Roll at weddings. Do you think it does a good job on "dolly" and "crane" shots?
+Jonathan Mullen I do think OSMO gimbal + X5 camera is better for wedding considering of the low light.
+Kurt Von Studios Yeah but depends on budget, the X5 isn't even close to the price bracket the osmo setup is. Guessing if he's talking cranes and sliders he can probably afford one though.
Slow mo is amazing except it crops the image A LOT... and the image gets way to soft and digital pixelation. On top of that if you want to shoot a 4K video or even 2K video you can't use the slow mo? How are you supposed to put 1080p footage in a 2, 4K sequence? Blow up the already cropped and pixelated 1080p footage? HA!
Overpriced ....
