Do you realize how lucky we are to live in this century ? We saw Stevie Wonder, this leaving legend, on stage ? Michael Jackson, Prince ... how lucky I'm, I was born in the 70'...
Robert Lawson Couldn’t agree with you more....he was...born 1977 listened to this guy with my late dad in Africa and still does...Thank my dad for showing me great music
Every couple of thousand years, a genius comes around and changes the landscape of the earth. That man as far as music is concerned is the great Stevie Wonder. Prof.
Thanks youtube. Didn't get to see a beautiful human being play some of the world's most wonderful and inspired music, but I did get to watch a commercial for a reality TV series. Your sight is truly a source of knowledge, helping to develop minds everywhere.
Stevie wonder is a living legend.a film story of his life will be out one day ,mark my words. Because He’s a genius and bc they don’t do music like that anymore. Songs like that will live forever and ever ...and his voice is unique 🎼🎶💜
I agree halleck3, but just to point out. Sir Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, The Rolling Stones, Ray Davies (founder of The Kinks). That's just 4 quick names, all of whom have as you say, "rocked through 4 different decades." Interesting that they all (Stevie included) started out in the 1960's. Coincidence? I don't think so.
David Peel If you started in the 80's you wouldn't have had a chance to get through 4 decades yet! :) As a comparison though, Duke Ellington was playing between 1914 and 1974 - 60 years! Even Stevie has a little way to go to beat that...
He was an absolute God to me growing up. Songs in the Key of Life was just unreal. I'd get home from school, go round my mates house and we'd all listen to it night after night. Great times. Total genius.
I LOVE this song, it reminds me of my Caribbean heritage (my dad, passed away many years ago, but I miss him still, and remember how much he loved to dance! Rest in peace papi❤️🙏🏽)
🎶"For you, love might bring a toast of wine, but with each sparkle know the best for you I pray 🎵For you, love might be for you to find, but I will celebrate our love of yesterday." 🎵🥴😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 The man is genius! 😁
Finally got the thing working. Now I love you again RUclips. Fuck! He is absolutely amazing! Gift from God. Best voice on the planet. And some of the most inspired, poignant, and beautiful words too. Love this man.
This album is absolutely iconic...it is ONE of the greatest...only because...Marvin Gaye's, "What's Going On," has to be included in that 'greatest category,' as well.
La la la la la la lala la La la la la la la lala la La la la la la la lala la La la la la la la lala la For you There might be a brighter star But through my eyes the light of you is all I see For you There might be another song But all my heart can hear is your melody So long ago my heart without demanding Informed me that no other love could do But listen did I not though understanding Fell in love with one Who would break my heart in two For you Love might bring a toast of wine But with each sparkle know the best for you I pray For you Love might be for you to find But I will celebrate our love of yesterday So long ago my heart without demanding Informed me that no other love could do But listen did I not though understanding Fell in love with one Who would break my heart in two For you There might be another star But through my eyes the light of you is all I see For you There might be another song But in my heart your melody will stay with me
I first heard this on its release in 1976, went out the following day and got the wonderful album " songs in the key of life" still have my copy, however it's has suffered with over playing, thank god for digital music so it sounds as crisp and fresh as that first day. Glad it's still enjoyed today by much younger audience, this is real music and a fantastic role model for us all. Thank you Stevie for you genius.
Genius is a term banded about fairly loosely these days but it must surely apply to Stevie Wonder .He's been my favourite artist since the 70's and this has been my favourite song . Its like a drug , whenever I play it it gives me a rush like the best cocaine . If there's such a thing as THE perfect album ,'songs in the key of life' must be it . Long live Stevie Wonder .
One of the greatest pieces of music ever recorded by one of the greatest artists ever !
I CONCUR !!! EXCELLENT PIECE OF MUSIC !!!!!
Amen
Do you realize how lucky we are to live in this century ? We saw Stevie Wonder, this leaving legend, on stage ? Michael Jackson, Prince ... how lucky I'm, I was born in the 70'...
ikr :)
You are up all night to get lucky haha
And I've seen each one! Truly blessed 🙌
Prince and the Dancing Peodo should not be mentioned in the same breath as This Man. To take Your point though Mate- yes We were lucky. 👍
We were truly blessed ♥️
God was showing-off when he created Stevie Wonder :)
Robert Lawson Couldn’t agree with you more....he was...born 1977 listened to this guy with my late dad in Africa and still does...Thank my dad for showing me great music
man spent 3 mins shouting out the people in the band. now thats dedication
Absolutely one of the greatest songs ever. I wore this song out on the record.
I thank G-d every day for putting me on this Earth in a time where I could experience Stevie Wonder's music.
This gave me chills! I almost cried, I love his voice.

BEST SONGWRITER OF OUR GENERATION!!!
This Has Got To Be The Best Song Of All Time
Agreed.
Every couple of thousand years, a genius comes around and changes the landscape of the earth. That man as far as music is concerned is the great Stevie Wonder.
Prof.
Simply the greatest ever S T E V I E
I was there at the back, was the second time i've seen him and it just gets better and better. Love you Stevie!! x
This is respectful that, even if he can't see, he memorized all the names of the musicians performed. He is just amazing.
I agree. For a man of his stature to know the name of every single musician on stage with him, shows he has no airs or graces.
Clearly someone's suggesting him the names through his headset..
You are a disrespectful fool.
TheInhumanFly Are you as Stupid as you sound? Yes.....that's what I thought 🙄
He knows his band members. Names of the additional percussion team were suggested
Thanks youtube. Didn't get to see a beautiful human being play some of the world's most wonderful and inspired music, but I did get to watch a commercial for a reality TV series. Your sight is truly a source of knowledge, helping to develop minds everywhere.

Stevie can do no wrong; perfectly and wonderfully made
Who the hell else has rocked through four different decades? This guy has!

This man is timeless
He was an absolute God to me growing up. Songs in the Key of Life was just unreal. I'd get home from school, go round my mates house and we'd all listen to it night after night. Great times. Total genius.
Is it just me or does anyone loving Steveland feel immense gratitude and eternally honoured?!

For those asking this track can be found on Stevie's album 'Songs in the key of Life'
In my opinion 'Songs in the key of Life' is the greatest album ever made
@@omarsbp03 easily. Few albums even come close
This album is absolutely iconic...it is ONE of the greatest...only because...Marvin Gaye's, "What's Going On," has to be included in that 'greatest category,' as well.

La la la la la la lala la
La la la la la la lala la
La la la la la la lala la
La la la la la la lala la
For you
There might be a brighter star
But through my eyes the light of you is all I see
For you
There might be another song
But all my heart can hear is your melody
So long ago my heart without demanding
Informed me that no other love could do
But listen did I not though understanding
Fell in love with one
Who would break my heart in two
For you
Love might bring a toast of wine
But with each sparkle know the best for you I pray
For you
Love might be for you to find
But I will celebrate our love of yesterday
So long ago my heart without demanding
Informed me that no other love could do
But listen did I not though understanding
Fell in love with one
Who would break my heart in two
For you
There might be another star
But through my eyes the light of you is all I see
For you
There might be another song
But in my heart your melody will stay with me
