    This is THE CALMEST most easy going loading I have ever seen, not to mention a trailer designed for safer loading and riding of the cattle. To bad all shippers and haulers couldn't afford this trailer. It's a vast improvement over what I've seen over the years.

      It depends on who you haul for, and how many times it's changed hands. You may be told $4.80/mile, but get $2.80/mile. That's how some of these chicken shit outfits are. This was my truck, trailer was leased. I quit doing it in January of '17, right before I sold my truck. Some of these bilevel cattle trailers have an additional electrically raised floor to convert it into a trilevel for hauling maximum amount of sheep or hogs. The floor can also be raised flat with the loading level, and dividers folded aside, to haul cargo like a standard "van" semi-trailer. That way the trucker can still earn money hauling rather then return empty.

    Why didn't you load any cattle on the second story above the trailers tandem

    • @tjjusten6266
      @tjjusten6266  7 лет назад +5

      Because they were fats. I don't put anything over 950 in the jail, otherwise their backs will rub.

    • @jonathanbartlett3509
      @jonathanbartlett3509 5 лет назад +1

      I don't put anything over 650 in the jail. With fats you usually have a load just using the top, belly, and back cut.

      I have no idea. I don't push the button unless absolutely necessary though. Most of the time I just bump them with it just like I would if it was a rattle paddle. I only use it to keep them from running backwards over the top of me. I've bumped myself with it before to stay awake, it's not that bad.
