Almost all of these films have been on my watchlist and I didn’t know it was the same director lol.

Thank you for giving me a new director to dive into! I’ll have to binge all these movies soon. Glad I found this channel, these are the exact type of videos I’m wanting to make. Excited to see more from you.

I've seen 4 Months, Beyond the Hills, Graduation, and R.M.N. Mungiu is easily a modern master and one of the great contemporary filmmakers working today

I definitely agree with that statement!

Thanks for this video. I haven't seen any of Cristian Mungiu's films, but "4 Months..." is on the Harvard PhD Narrative Film List, and I'm trying to watch all of those. I will get to it eventually.

Big fan of Mungiu. Loved Graduation and Beyond the Hills. I saw 4 Months in college but really did not enjoy it. It just made me so angry but then again maybe that was the point. I think I may have to revisit it.

I can definitely understand why the subject matter could throw some people off. I have heard mixed opinions about the film, but for me, I enjoyed it!

@@DylanAnglin_ it wasn’t the subject matter it was more the pacing and the characters being irritating. Again, I think it was supposed to get under your skin. I should rewatch it.
