Now this here is my favourite couple in the world. They are of course killing it. Such a strong dance. Petar puts most leaders to shame. He is just so good. Nothing he does is ever too much. He has such a strong understanding of who he is and what role he wants to play in each dance. His understanding of shaping when in frame and usage of the arms when doing solo sequences is immaculate. He is very strong whilst also supple. A well-trained body if there ever was one. The elevation of that jeté en tournante in the beginning is majestic. And Zia, these nature-themed dresses will be the end of me. So gorgeous! She shadows and mirrors so well in the Paso without ever looking like she wants to attack or challenge Petar. A "lady" in every sense of the word. Mesmerizing!
Peter is really performing excellently. This is solid, and good musicality. I am surprised that Zia does not follow up. She lags a whole class behind him. She lives in a mystical world of her own. Instead of being a precise and effective assistant to the Commander, in the life and death struggle to defeat the enemy. She dances another dance.
Helge Christopherson. She lives in a mystical world of her own. Really, and just how much competition experience have you had apart from almost none. If she dances another dance then you dude come from a planet far far away. Thanks for the visit though enjoy the trip back.
@@joetesta8754 The FACT is she is SO different from Ina, dancing with Troels. (The Champions.) We see that also in Troels and Ina´s majestic Paso doble in the Spanish Hall on LAV Channel during this year´s Blackpool. @@helgechristophersen7665 Why are you even comparing a top amateur couple to the worlds #1 professional who have years more experience. Your reasoning and comparison is entirely irrelevant and unbalanced as it seems are you. Peter's Paso is hands down the most beautiful Paso I have seen for a very long time, if not ever. Just stunning. Zia, on the other hand, seems slow and a bit out of it. There is a marked difference between Peter and Zia in the quality of their dancing.
Barring Zia's headpiece which I thought was to big, heavy looking and prominent I loved this whole look on them. Very classy very Latino. Peter looks strong, masculine and Zia is a picture of sophisticated classy femininity and they for me are visual eye candy. The dancing just quietly is rather good too.
@@lanerope4482 So sexy in a sophisticated way and not trashy like so many of these barely there over sexualised decorated handkerchiefs so many girls wear. It's often too much and cheapens the whole thing imo.
I am not a fan of this dress. It is not appropriate for the event. It is a daytime dress for an afternoon cocktail. The fact that it does not show cleavage does not make it classy.
It looks like the gap between these two as dancers is beginning to widen. I don’t see them as capable of doing much more growing together as a dance couple. I think she’s maxed out her potential but he has not.
Alina Fiorela. Here again we differ in opinion. I feel the reason why peter looks good and really stands out is that Zia doesn't challenge him by being over aggressive and portraying a great feminine foil for him (Beata, hanna kartunnan vibeke toft come to mind) to look more dominant as it should be in this dance. Often the man is emasculated by the lady which I am not a fan of at all.
@Joe Testa hmm…perhaps Petar simply is just a better dancer now? People grow out of each other all the time and dancers are not immune to that phenomenon either. I think that’s what we are witnessing here regardless of the approach Zia may take toward her role in their Paso.
@@ficklefialka309 Its interesting that you feel this girl isn't bringing enough to match her partner and I said a very similar thing thing about Sasha with salvo. different strokes for different folk and whilst I respect your opinion which we're each entitled to I dont quite share your view in this instance.
@@joetesta8754 Your comparison, I'm afraid, does not stand. You made a specific comment about Sasha to which I made a specific objection. How is this the same here? This is a different partnership, a different female dancer, and a different issue alltogether. Had I said that Zia's sexual timidity in this Paso created an inadequate response to her partner's overwhelming masculinity (which I believe was the gist of your argument in relation to Sasha), then your critisism would have been just. But I had not said anything of the sort, so why the false mapping? You are more than welcome to disagree, but let's not treat these two very different couples and female dancers as if they were comparable in every way and then use that false identification as an appropriate counterargument tool. I don't appreciate it, and I think you wouldn't either.
I do like their outfits and agree with previous comments about Peter - his dancing is really great in this routine However especially the lady's arms are very distractive for me in this dance, particularly during the running steps and she has many of these steps where she is using the arms as if marching. I can only imagine how much hardwork there is behind these routines but styling of lady's arms just doesnt look good in my opinion
Well done, good prepared couple going to fight for a first place and I like it. They are different, supported by strong look. But their style of agresive dancing where she is often behind everything whats going on there is not my cup of tea.
