I was gonna actually do the opposite but since the reactions and how the 2nd person (aka the one voicing Sokka) was acting more optimistic like than a usual nonchalant tone for Zuko. XD Edit: To side that; Zuko was so flabbergasted on how did Sokka even bought all of those stuff.

A lot of people talk about how they would probably switch places, because Zuko comes from a rich family and all that. But I think that Sokka is the type of person that he would save up money for this through hard work in the shortest possible time, I don’t know, overthrowing the government of some village for a good pay, in order to give Zuko a the best gifts he can think of.
I feel like i should explain why sokka is the “rich one” while zuko is the “broke one” even tho cannon zuko is rich kid while sokka is broke kid but anywayd its cuz sokka is like a clingy love and ver lovey dovey type and he is very overbearing and romantic like have u seen what he does for suki he gifts her a lot well when he can meanwhile zuko is very awkward person in general so he’s very awkward like have u seen his date anyway he doesnt know how to express himself all that well but he tries and so thats like why they r in those roles in the sound (im srry if this seems rude in any way it is not meant to come off in that way and i js thought i would explain)
