Hearing all the channels separately really makes you appreciate this song so much more. Even today, I think this holds up as an insane experimental fusion that just works!
Oh hell yeah, I was hoping for this! This is just as awesome as I was anticipating! Thanks so much! Edit: I also love how MK8's version uses a couple of these channels!
For some reason, 1:10 to 1:21 sounds like the start of 'Can You Really Call This A Hotel, I Didn't Receive A Mint On My Pillow Or Anything' from Undertale (to me at least 🤔)
classic analog synth bass made with a sawtooth wave filtered through a resonant low pass filter sweeping down, PLUS, bitcrushing and aliasing due to the compressed nature of the samples in SNES cartridges, giving this bite and vocal quality made of high frequency artifacts
The bass sounds slimy just like the basses in Mario Kart 64 for Luigi Raceway, Figure 8 Circuit in Mario Kart DS, and this track in the Wii version but the bass sounds in that game sounds a slightly similar to this bass in this game.
Okay I wanted to ask, how do you loop the songs seamlessly, even after I extract each channel's sound, if the song ends before I can showcase all channels it has a very awkward portion where the song is trying to loop back to the start
The snes truly had a fantastic soundchip
Or daughterboard SHVC-SOUND on earlier models 😉
Yes, just the Sega genesis did👍👍
Meh. Looking into it’s true colors, I don’t think I can 100% agree with that.. -But yeah it’s a pretty decent DSP! 👍
Everybody Gangsta until DSP 1;3 HITS 1:42

the coolest is always to hear the Bass-Line in the MarioKart songs
2:14 theme that plays when I find that $5 can of beans
3:49 This part could have sounded like this at first as the original
I REALLY wanted to hear this one!
Imo the best Mario Circuit theme of them all
I never realised the samba undertones of these tunes.

The classic! I'm hoping so much for GBA Sky Garden now
OOF! the gummiest chewwiest bass ever.

That's funny, because I find it to sound beautiful.

DSP 5 is scary 😨

Just use SPCTool, it loops automatically (and does pretty much everything 👌) :

@@Orj_Osc Ohh, okay I'll give it a try, thank you
@@Orj_Osc Oh is this only for SNES? I was looking for ones for GBA as well
Yes, it's only for SNES. (I don't know much about GBA, sorry :/)
