I like your reviews, it feels you don't shy away from the flaws of bootlegs. Some reviewers don't mention fitting issues that much, maybe because it's common on bootlegs. Are you going to review any variants of 1/144 Zaku GTOs?
I appreciate the feedback 😊 I try my best to not only say the good things about the kit. I may have gotten it from watching Transformers reviewers who point out flaws alot! 😁 But I try to be unbiased as possible when making a review no matter how much I like the kit 🤣👍
Yes I'm now thinking, maybe I was also just unlucky about JMS being loose...but I remember someone commenting in the shorts I made that JMS Spartans head pieces really are loose and he had to mod it! 😅 Oh well a bootleg is a bootleg and we get what we pay for 🤣✌️
I have this as P-Bandai and it breaks my heart a little bit to have it bootlegged. Then again, it's completely Bandai's fault not just having all these kits as regular releases. I'd certainly buy most of the originals instead.
I agree. It's alil difficult to build an army if the kit is PBandai. So this is a good alternative ☺️ but if you have the means, I always recommend to support and buy Bandai. ☺️
So you buy overpriced plastic pieces from a company known for sh*tting on their consumers, then get sad when more people have access to the kit ? Have you considered not having emotional ties to a company ?
I buy Bandai and I buy knockoff and bootlegs ☺️ I support Bandai too because they came up with the IP for the product anyway and the anime. What would bootleggers copy and improve on if the there is no original version! 🤣 Bootleggers are just a fun and affordable alternative to buying plastic kits and it's always a welcome option for me. The bootleg scene just opened an affordable means for people who can't afford the hobby or would like to experiment and find cheaper alternatives in kit bashing ☺️ That's why I mentioned if you only have the means, if you don't have the financial means to do it.... there's always a bootleg kit available ☺️
I got the snow version stuck in customs 🤣 I'm waiting for it patiently I think the Anavata kit will arrive first and the RGM Spartan Snow is gonna be next 😅✌️
I have no problem with bootlegs of hard to find/out of print items as long as I know it's not genuine/a reproduction. As far as PBandai goes, recolors, special coatings and accessories are fine, but I can't stand it when a really cool, new mold is an exclusive.
Hmm, I was going to get the JMS version too but I guess I’ll stick with my xfs version. My xfs copy is really solid and I think the only downside with it is the lower plastic quality. Unless my local hobby shop stocks this kit I won’t go out of my way to buy this from china lol. Thanks again for your review
Also the JMS is missing a panel line on the forearm compared to the xfs. Also since you have both kits, which one do you think have crisper panel lines and micro details.
Nope ☺️ I've seen people repaint these new bootleg brands they had no issues with customizing it ☺️ just be sure soak it in dish washing soap for a good 30mins to an 1hr then rinse well let it dry and then paint away
hte price for either is fine considering it is a bootleg of a P bandai kit. That said, its only ok because of how limited P bandai kits are. If they were normal release kits, then no, the price increase is not ok.

I got lucky my XFS was solid no loose parts, fitting was great. I was expecting JMS had better quality this time JMS had a bit of a bootleg syndrome.

Oh absolutely!! I personally use clear nail polish but tamiya cement is also something i use 😁👊
I use DSPIAE joint tightener pen instead of cement, work perfectly both for loose parts and for loose joints)
