- Mezzo-soprano Nadia Fayad, student of Eastman professor Kathryn Cowdrick, sings a stunning performance of the Brahms Alto Rhapsody in Kodak Hall, Eastman School of Music. Performed on December 6th, 2013
Lee Wright also happens to be an accomplished organist as well as a very nice person. He took the time on one occasion to look over some of my own compositions for organ at D.U.P.C. (Fisk Organ) I was supposed to sing in his choir but personnel issues got in the way. Ms. Fayad has a great voice and this work shows it off nicely.
Lovely my dear grandaughter Nadia. We love you. Keep up the good work.

Beautiful performance, but I missed the mellow visual accompaniment of the men's chorus, which should have also been shown in the recording. It was there, but we should also have seen them sing. I think Brahms intended them as an integral part of the work, and not just off-stage.
Ms. Fayad was wonderful.
