    Steve was gifted man who worked his ass off to play the blues and if he had had three hands he could not have been any better.

    Thanks so much for sharing this. I've just become aware of Steve, albeit a bit late, but am so impressed with his playing and phrasing. This is very enjoyable to say the least.

    I'm a latecomer to the late, great Steve Samuels, but his guitar swings so hard and is so inspirational!

    I had the privilege of playing with these guys. Jed Paulker on guitar, Rasheed Abdullah on bass, sorry I don't remember the drummer's name. FYI I'm the guy in the sharkskin suit. Still here 40 years later😎

    Great stuff--thanks for posting! I noticed the last 15 minutes of audio (after Mojo) cuts out. Is it possible that could be restored?

    Q.E.P.D. (R.I.P.) Mr. Johnny Dyer, bluesman veterano de Los Ángeles y aprendiz-protegido de George "Harmonica" Smith, quién tocó en la banda de Muddy Waters. Ambos se conocieron en 1958. Apartir de entonces, tocarían juntos como padre e hijo, siendo el maestro quién lo mantuvo bajo su tutela. Dyer dijo al respecto de esa época: "Smith era el mejor de todos en ese tiempo y el blues estaba en su apogeo! Me enseñó mucho, todo el mundo amaba a George".
