Although I think there may be a version with other singers maybe? At least this one sounded different from the one I've been hearing mostly. But Christina is always outstanding, her voice is unique. "Say something" - Yes, Communication - necessary for any kind of relationship, when it's missing it keeps you in the dark, confusion and, often sadness. Things unsaid can break people apart or at least cause distance between them. Beautiful song, so simple and sincere.

The young couple are drug addicts, and the girlfriend has decided to leave her boyfriend…the little girl is hiding from her parents fighting and likely divorce, and so is the family dog…and the elderly man is saying his last goodbye to his dying wife. All three scenes depicted in this video are extremely heartbreaking…I can never get past this video without sobbing.
