The sling is an add-on because some people already have a sling solution for their shotguns already. so we made it optional. We also sell it without a magnet and it shaves off and obtuse amount of money because magnets are scary expensive and over 1/3 the MSRP for good ones

Honestly, bungee works perfectly fine. I glued a home depot magnet inside a bfg pouch and molle that anywhere I want.

While it does not cost 300 as the previous commentor posted. I have a question on your website. The magnetic trap IS 168, then having to add a sling for 48, is this an extra sling or does it come with one? You said it comes one Or is it sold individually? If they are separate. I'll just stick to my bungee and magnet.

We sell it without a magnet. Magnets with thick Nickel coating are not cheap, $67. QD swivels are $12 for good ones. Hahaha there's half the total cost right there.
